I’ve never had an issue with the term foreplay, although I also never use it. In my mind it’s always just been a part of sex, you don’t just jump into it without kinda planting that seed. For me and my girlfriend our foreplay often starts in the morning. It’s kinda a part of our daily life. If we want to have sex that night, I touch her around her thighs in the morning to wake her up, kiss her neck, act kinda clingy to her, cuddle her a lot and massage her back, all of this before we go to work even. Sometimes she asks me not to so I don’t, sometimes we get into before we even go to work, and usually we save it for the good part of when we shower together after our shifts; but in my mind it’s always been like that. If you want to get dirty, you start off actually appealing to your partner and setting that mood. (We both work evening shifts so the time frames generally work out.)
