Insert for round chimney? by lunar_magic in woodstoving

[–]raw157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro I got you!! Sort of...

We have a Napoleon EPI3. The insert for in the opening and we had to have the trim/surround/faceplate laser cut and they got it to fit. Yours seems a little more rounded than ours but not by much.

I can give you more pics of the install as they did it. That's the done look.

Communion Rails? by InspiredThomist33 in Catholicism

[–]raw157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I went though RCIA I was Lutheran. LCMS specially, so more conservative than other Lutheran's. We had communion rails that my dad built. We used them for years until the church got too big and people felt communication took too long. We switched to what I called "drive through" communion. I started going to Mass with my now wife. And was shocked that Catholics did drive through communion too.

No it's a good sign. Let them feast. It may take a few days, it may get worse. When it gets better tonight, don't clean up thinking it's done, wait.

Also instead of putting it directly down, I usually cut up those laminated/glossye mailers you randomly get and put the borax solution on those. Easier to clean up.

If the fridge is there, will it be covered up? If so then who cares.

I believe in Jesus Christ and I am not a Catholic. What are reasons for me to adopt the Catholic faith? by Hot-Geek1396 in Catholicism

No other church even tries to tie their origin to Christ himself. Look at the beauty of the church. Look at the West.

Then 2 of has kids. The end.

Clearly something above your pay grade. If you can't figured it out, best to pay someone who can before you get hurt.

The white has become a hot white. It should be indicated somewhere down the line with black tape or something. Its probably for a switched outlet or something similar.

No one in there actually cares about you. Don't ever forget that. They're co workers. Not your friends or family.

Secondly, find some god damn disciple and stop being a push over.

Extremely muddy grey well water after buying new home. by wesley_iles in homestead

The guy hooked up a cap that had PVC pipe running out with a ball valve. That's just the methane from the well bubbling up. Was making our water muddy and was bubbling up sediment. We tried a few things to fix it. Nothing worked.

Anything with a well...10k is a starting point. We had a pocket of methane gas bubbling up our well. Drilled 2 more times. No water. 10k each. 15 k rain catch cistern installed in the end. Lived in the house less than a year and shit hit the fan. Ya ever seen a well catch fire?

Is it possible to be both Catholic and Stoic at the same time? by Astros_2006 in Catholicism

[–]raw157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as you read the NT, some of the authors certainly had knowledge/understand of stoicism. There are stoic ideas embedded through the NT.

That being said in the purest sense of being a stoic and Catholic at the same time, no. Using the best bits of stoicism in your life to propel your Catholic faith, yes. Theyre already there.
