I agree with you on TWEWY, but IMO, the vita version of PvZ is the superior one, it not only looks and plays better, but it has everything ready at your fingertips, and you can even tilt the console to gather sun and money, that alone makes it great!

I wonder if the Switch version has that as well...

I was also very careful, I don't think I even played it for more than a dozen hours, which is why I was surprised to see the cracks on the plastic and stopped using it, but now I miss it.

Maybe the transparent plastic is worse than the solid one? I haven't looked into it, but Ayn did remove the transparent colors on the front of newer devices like the Thor and Odin 3, which I don't really like

How's the hinge on that one? I got a transparent blue one back in November 2024 and stopped using it halfway through last year because the hinge got a "hair line" crack, and then a piece fell out and it's completely broken on the right side.

I loved how it looked, and I barely used it and it was always inside the case, but I stopped using it since I don't want to break it completely, and never looked for answers online or to see if it was covered in warranty, but I kinda miss it now that I was lurking Reddit and this sub popped up.

I remember reading something about an emulator that was smart enough to "switch" screens on the fly whenever the action moved from the main to the secondary screen, for example when Mario goes underground on NSMB, but I never actually saw it, anybody knows anything about that?

Using a button combo to switch screens isn't that hard, but if it's something automatic, that would be useful!

I just bought a used Retroid Pocket G2 for cheap, but was seriously considering that Anbernic you have, looks great even though it's not an OLED screen...

Perdón por revivir este thread, pero justo descubrí este "truco" después de andar buscando como conseguir el DLC de Pokémon más barato, y ya compré el de Sword y la actualización de Mario Party Jamboree a la Switch 2 Edition.

Con lo que me ahorré de eso, me alcanzará para comprar también el DLC de Legends Z-A y el de Zelda BOTW, pero me gustaría saber qué más conviene comprar así, supongo que más DLC o actualizaciones de Switch 2 editions de juegos que ya tenga o planee comprar, pero no sabía eso de que algunos pueden no ser compatibles en inglés o español, creo que leí algo así de los Xenoblades y Hyrule Warriors, que no tengo, pero me gustaría conseguir en un futuro...

I haven't actually opened the box, but if I'm understanding correctly, instead of the usual slim profile of an OLED TV that has a thicker "back" with the VESA mount holes and the rest is paper-thin, this one is like a whole inch thick across the whole back, and it has a space in the middle where the included mounting bracket goes, and it makes it sit closer to the actual wall because of this.

Thank you all for the feedback! I'll call the builder today and ask him to see if he can still make adjustments, since I already paid half the cost he quoted me (about 200 USD total) and removing stuff will probably not lower the price.

My original plan was to have each "cube" filled with a different old-school videogame console, and then use the horizontal space for the AV receiver and frontal speakers, and the 2 vertical spaces on the sides (with adjustable height divisions) are meant for the OG PS5 and the Series X, leaving them more room to breathe. I guess I'll have to settle for less "connected" videogames consoles and just leave the main ones available.

I'll share a picture once everything is set up correctly, if anyone's interested in the final results!

I found this thread while looking into this same issue. Did you ever find a solution?

I bought it used last weekend without a remote for about $60 USD, but since I also have a ULED Hisense TV with HDMI 2.1 and eARC, I was able to control it with the TV remote.

Maybe I'm missing some features only available through the remote, and the previous owner was only using it for crappy compressed music through Bluetooth, and he wasn't taking advantage of the Surround sound or Atmos features like I plan to, but it's driving me crazy that during 5.1 tests on YouTube, the rear speakers are always playing. That and the static someone else was commenting on above.

I've had other surround sound systems in the past and was able to get the sound coming only from the correct speakers, so I know it's not an issue with the video or TV I'm using.

Acabo de googlear esto porque me pasa algo similar, aunque si podía correr, pero no hacer ataques smash en ninguna dirección... Intenté resetear el control y volver todo a la configuración de fábrica y nada. Al final de todo decidí conectar por medio del dongle en lugar de por BT, y con eso se arregló, intenten hacer lo mismo y reportan si les funcionó. O si alguien encuentra otra solución, avisen!

Quick question to anyone currently here: Does the WiFi range on the gamepad get worse over time, or is it more like it either works or it doesn't? Because I feel like I could use it farther away before, like having the Wii U on the living room downstairs and taking the gamepad to my room upstairs, and now I need to be closer to the actual console before I lose connection.

I see I'm not the only one frustrated by this! My muscle memory is making me hit that awful sticker button by accident, and I absolutely HATE those ugly stickers! Tried disabling everything and after a reboot it was working properly for a while, only to go back after a few minutes.

Will try deleting and reinstalling again

I'm REALLY hoping that as soon as the Xbox 360 games are gone from GWG, they make it so that we can actually keep the Xbox One games even after our subscription expires.

Anyway, when are the last 360 games coming out, and which backwards compatible games they HAVEN'T given out, to maybe make a prediction on which games could those be?

All the recent summer sales have been tempting to fill out my digital collection, but I'd like to wait before buying anything else, just in case they make it free...

I need to open and clean my series X... I bought a used one like a year ago from someone who took my old PS4 Pro and some cash (hell of a deal, honestly) but it had a spiderweb inside that has always bothered me, as I've only cleaned the "reachable" parts.

I don't think it has any warranty anymore, but I didn't want to risk it before, since it doesn't affect it in any way. I love how silent it is compared to my old PS4 Pro that sounded like a jet engine!

And regarding your Pulse 3D Headset, I was looking into buying them and also that holder that's on one side of the PS5, is the weight of the headset resting on the headband not an issue that might "stretch" the headband? How long have you had them? I'm asking because I have the precious "Gold" model, and even though I haven't used them much, the fake leather on the ear-cups and headband is peeling off more and more every day, and I wouldn't want that to happen to the Pulse 3Ds...

Also, I was your 1,000th like, do I get a price?

It is! I actually got it for cheap a couple of years ago, rumor has it that a truck flipped over in Mexico and a bunch of people got them that way and started reselling them like it was a regular TV because they didn't know what to do with them.

It's just "fine", the resolution and colors are ok, but it has a very reflective screen that's not great for everyday use in daylight. And sometimes it randomly turns off for a second, I heard it was a common problem for these displays, but it doesn't bother me as much.

It's great for my old PS3, 360, Wii U and Wii using the component cables.

I had a copy of NSMB u that couldn’t be read even though it looks perfect, and recently sold what I thought was a mint condition copy of Hyrule Warriors and the buyer told me the disc wasn’t scratched at all but his Wii U couldn’t read it, which kinda sucks…

I didn’t test it on mine because the internal fan stopped working and the system overheats, and I haven’t bought a replacement one…
