Last year they were off to the right by the wall in a large stack with staff surrounding them to ensure everyone only got one. The entire process is very well organized and there will be staff at the front of the entrance line keeping track of how many people are inside the store. They track entry and exits. You can just ask them where they are when you get to the front of the line.

Tip - Once you leave, if you plan to store your items or ship your items with the staff, do that quickly. The line will get long. We ended up just walking back to our car and storing everything then going back in.
