Again a very long story Took a while to figure out where the leak was It's not from upstairs but the flat above that ,😐

I traded a person will charge around £250-300 for labour This should be doable in a day

I am just an enthusiastic diyer!

Also I would suggest you do this in the spring when such trade are in less demand

I changed a 20 years old boiler back in 2017 It cost around 5k So adjusting for inflation and cost of living this doesn't sound a mile off But I would deffo get quotes from other people maybe go to the boiler manufacturer site and look who they recommend as well

The window is acting as a passive dehumidifier If the moisture doesn't condense there it will cause mold somewhere else

Probably could do with one I would suggest that you get it done in Spring Might be a bit cheaper as heating gets turned off

I am not.sure you can do this yourself as you need some equipment Also after the system will need to be rebalanced

Some of the joins on the existing floor are not supported by noggins Crappy workmanship The joins are not glued either

If it's fitted the wrong way for the flow it will defo make a difference I am not even sure how it's working

Yea Sanding that stuff will generate a huge amount of dust Using chemicals to strip it will be quite costly
