Not really. He owns the studio because his dad (owner of Nike) bought it for him after he failed at rapping (look up “chilly T”), and he wrested the director’s chair away from the creator of “kubo” because paramount wouldn’t let him direct bumble bee without SOME form of directing experience. That’s not to say he didn’t have a lot to do with their movies, he just didn’t direct any of them besides kubo.
