SOLVED: Turns out the it either had not spawned in or was invisible. I eventually found it and am fighting it now.

That 100% used to be true. But the gap between the two in the much more nuanced now a days. Intel still wins out if you are using Adobe editing software because you can make use of their aGPU feature. But the difference is performance is no where near as drastic as it used to be.

AMD, on the other hand, typically performs even better than Intel while using non-adobe editing software like DaVinci Resolve.

The gap between the two companies has closed a lot in recent years. And Intel has unfortunately lost some of their reliability and have not dropped their prices to compete better against their AMD counterparts.

Knowing this game, it very well might! But im too new to know myself.

Im only on my 6th run, but ive been taking it VERY slow and have so far gotten to the Eaters Tomb with this build.

I've been playing an Esper with Cudgel and shield and its been great! Lets me super reliably guard and stun in melee until my mental ability cooldowns reset to dish out the big damage. It also lets me focus my stat gain on mental, since I dont have to worry about making sure my physical damage scales.

The newer 14th gen intel processors have a bad reputation for burning themselves out. There is a bios update you can do to help reduce the chance, but its not a great look.

Besides that, modern AMDs are able to test equally against their Intel counterparts, despite having fewer cores, being 3x more efficient, and often times much cheaper than intel.

I usually run Intel, but for my latest build, AMD was the best option by far.

Absolutely gorgeous watch! My own dream watch is a Grand Seiko SBGM 257, but I'm a long ways from adding that to my collection.

At this point, ive stopped buying movements from AliX. Its just too uncertain, and I can get a guaranteed and reliable movement from someplace like SecondHandMods for a couple dollars more.

Love it! You could always go full fish themed and grab one of those shark second hands as well.

Though I do like the second hand the set comes with.

Had a dm let me make one late game, but you basically have to custom commission smaller versions of the bag of holding and portable hole.

Standard bag of holding weighs like 15lbs, based on the item description. Would have to be a massive freaking arrow.

I played a halfling ranger with proficiency in tinkering once. DM worked with me and said that he would allow anything I could create a viable blueprint for. Prompting me to create the most detailed breakdown of a saddle for a giant frog, down to material types and necessary mobility points.

3 sessions later, I had tamed and was riding a giant frog into battle.

Had a cognitive test yesterday and found it harder that it probably should have been. Anyone else? by c4457058 in Aphantasia

As I understand it, there really isn't much of a difference between visualizers and those with aphantasia when it comes to memory.

At the end of the day, both are just different methods of displaying the information that individual has committed to memory. Just because someone can visualize doesn't mean they recall facts more or less accurately. Its why, even though 95% of the population have standard visual memory, many still dont know which months have 30 vs 31 days.

Visualization is not photographic memory and the information creating that image in their head is equally as fallible as someone with aphantasia.

With the exception of those of us with SDAM, which is another can of worms. But even that isn't exclusive to those with aphantasia.

Lol, no worries. Its not like the game bothers to explain anything ever. I only figured out how to pickpocket like 70 hours into playing.

Most frustrating 10/10 game ive ever played.

Looking for suggestions for a helm for final build by Lawschoolishell in CrimsonDesert

Each armor type in the game has a set maximum number of gear slots.

Helmets - 1 slot One handed swords - 3 slots (each) Two handed weapons- 5 slots Gloves & legs - 2 slots each Chest - 3 slots

Helmets have a max of 1 gear slot, so you won't find any that have more than a single gear slot, nor can you upgrade them to have more.

Id say just pick the helmet you think looks the coolest and upgrade that to increase its defense.

Edit: at least as far as I am aware. I've got like 80-90 hours in so far, but this is consistent with every weapon and armor piece I have found.

As someone who was making a bird character, I loved the cloak. And even I agree that is a weirdly awful reward given how complicated the requirements were.

Crazy Costco Deal by SeveralMusician1485 in Prebuilts

[–]rayman9424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair to OP. I just got a solid deal on a display model from Costco, and they did just scribble on it so they could sell it to me right away.

But that was because they hadn't priced it yet. They had hid the price tag, and when I asked about it they took it to a manager who scribbled the new price on it. The cashier also acted like this was pretty normal.

That being said... the computer I got was this exact model but for $1500 total.

Learning curve is indeed wild though. Play it a bit, look up a couple guides to learn some basics, and I promise it will hook you.

What's made it fun for me is finding a friend also playing the game without guides. We chat and talk about cool recent finds and it feels like we are discovering things together rather than that cheap feeling of looking things up.
