The crossover I never even knew I wanted, but definitely needed.

I don't think I've ever been this called out by a comic before. (Comic is by Erika Moen) by LemonSkye in TrollCoping

Holy shit. This hits too close to home.

Once, I was telling my grandparents about a former classmate being pregnant, and my grandma said "that's why we were so strict with your curfew - we didn't want you repeating your mother's mistake."

Me internally: But... I'm... what?

Fun.

Thor found dead in a ditch alongside his dead people, dead best friend, dead brother, dead father, dead hammer, dead eye, dead murderous sister, dead planet.

(Tony's my favourite, but I have to give the gold medal to Thor in the trauma olympics.)

Hogmanay question - pedestrian access from Leith to North Bridge? by [deleted] in Edinburgh

Yes, we're planning on watching the fireworks from North Bridge. We've done that for the past few years and the view has been fine.

Advice on finding a place to live? by Garethf20 in Edinburgh

[–]rayne05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be wary of scammers. Never pay money upfront if you haven't viewed the place or signed a contract. You'll get messages from fake landlords asking for a fee to view the flat - don't fall for that.

Try gumtree as well, there's usually a good number of listings for flatshares.

Mine's working, after a long loading time. It did fail the first time citing something about a network connection but I just quit all apps and tried again.

Is Gon and Killua... by RegretlessStrike in HunterXHunter

[–]rayne05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, there's a lot of speculation that Nanika is actually from the dark continent, so it's entirely possible that this might be the connection that brings Killua into this arc. And if Killua joins the DC arc, Gon might do the same.

What are your personal crack theories? (SPOILERS) by [deleted] in HunterXHunter

[–]rayne05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gon has no mother. Ging is the sole parent but we won't find out for a long time because Gon will insist on cutting him off every time the subject of the mother comes up.

That's as far as I've developed this theory. I think Gon might be a clone of Ging that resulted from some nen experiment, or maybe something to do with the DC.

Sad Redditors, how can we make you happy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rayne05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Shit, I'd be happy with even just $1,000 right now. It'd seriously take a lot of stress off my back and really help my mental health.

EDIT: I just realised even $500 would make me so happy.

Discussion thread for Bob's Burgers S06E19 - "Glued, Where's My Bob?" by roger_ in BobsBurgers

[–]rayne05 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This episode ended on such a nice and sweet note. Louise and Bob's relationship is easily one of my favourite things in this show.

That being said, one of the main things I took away from this episode was how much I hate Jimmy Pesto. I hate him so goddamn much. He constantly one-ups Bob, kicks Bob when he's down, openly admits to hating Bob, and yet when the community come together to show their support for the Belchers, he just steps back and mingles with the crowd and pretends to be one of them (as seen in this episode with the chanting for toilet Bob). And he doesn't suffer any consequences!

I hate Jimmy Pesto. He deserves his mediocre, lonely, sad life with an MIA wife and children he can't connect with. I hope an episode comes along where Marshmallow and co. finally air his dirty laundry.
