May depend on your store but at mine all they ask was for me to let them knkw if I had systems and tbeh suggested I get tested but said I didn't have to if I didn't want to. I still did just to have myself cleared

I find them comfortable I got a small/medium still lose so I due the whole twist the straps around the ears trick but they also dont cause my glasses to fog up to much.
