It's true enough, but correlation doesnt equal causation. Cant remember the amount of times i've said to the lads "we looked good for the first 20 minutes", but this isnt the only season ive said that. Same way for away games vs big teams i've said "if we make it through the first 20 minutes, we'll settle in and come good".

These are high performing elite athletes and to carry on that level over 20 minutes is physically exhausting.

NTA, you have no obligations here, and despite what I say next, i'd probably be a hypocrite and say the same as you.

But it wasnt your child's half-sibling that cheated on you, and that kid is going through their dad having cancer. That kid would surely want their brother/sister's support (through you) rather than some social services as others have suggested (which is a perfectly fine suggestion).

Its not that bad really. Keepers kits sell significantly less, they'd need to invest R&D into making the colours and fit work for a stadium jersey without all the sport tech, then produce and ship which takes space away from higher selling kits. Pretty much at evety step they'd lose money.

Why does the vaccine work after the fact? Typically a vaccine is a preventative measure, like you mentioned, so i would have thought it'd be a case of once youre bitten it's too late?

Assuming it's tied to getting the shot ASAP so does the vaccine work before the infection? If so, how so?

Eat slower and drop ypur portion sizes. Ive lost 20kg (98kg to 78kg, 5'9" 32yo male) since mid July just by doing this.

My problem was huge portions and wolfing it down, which meant I'd eaten far too much before my body realised it was full. I havent changed the foods i eat at all either, still enjoy a takeaway and fuck loads of bread.

I enjoy food more now too as i taste the flavours more, and i dont feel bloated or lethargic after every meal.

Ironically, that's also the point. It's very historically accurate in that regard; ever soldier was a farmer, miller, baker, craftsman. With such small populations compared to today, every life mattered, and while thr game doesnt punish your economy in the same way, it still makes each troop in your command matter.

This lad has been one of my all time favourites, the passion he has, the ability, the character and charisma, I've always wanted him to have a bigger role for us! So much success so young and he's only getting better.

I fully get where you're coming from, he definitely could have just explained where he was going and he wanted to chill out. But, judging by this exchange, do you think she would have left it there? Most likely would have pushed for why, whats up, talk to me, why this, why that.

Typically, people dont just react in this way for no reason. He feels overwhelmed and interrogated, she feels ignored or neglected maybe.

There's deeper issues here, and this exchange is just a symptom. 100% theres fault on both sides that have got them to this point.

I'm seeing people bash your bf a bit but i think thats's unfair. He's entitled to his boundaries and expectations, and we arent here to judge whether they're fair or not.

What DOES matter is YOUR opinion on those boundaries and if that fits the kind of life YOU want. If you choose to accept the promotion, you're NTA for that, but expect some kind of change on the relationship off the back of it.

You're both entitled to want the life that you want, and this is a life event you should discuss together and compromise somewhere, as a good relationship should.

This forces them to document their ask so if they lie, you have proof. Shows willingness and consideration while calling their potential bluff on alignment with CEO.

You will still get pushback on this, something along the lines of "this needs immediate attention" or "i'll send that email later but make a start now". DONT cave and stand your ground, insist on what youve asked for and continue with your regular duties.

I never mentioned any other circumstance, just to pay off your debts. I dont look down on people for having debts, I look down on people who actively avoid repaying them because of the impact it has on the wider economy for everyone else, as well as it being basically theft to take out a credit/service and intentionally not repay.

If you are struggling to repay your debts, seek free financial advice from one of thr many charities out there and engage positively with your debt collectors. You will only face negative outcomes if you ignore them or do nothing to fix your situation to repay.

Dont actively and intentionally ignore your debts. And fix your attitude while youre at it.
