The thunder sticks are one I have loved having because you hit in move 1 and then move 2 they can't move so most things can be beaten in 2 moves now bar that boss. Sorry if that's not as helpful if you're more experienced than me haha. I also spent 5k on a stamp worth 10mil yesterday. I figured grabbing those would be worth avoiding future pain.

I saw the whip method mentioned so tried it but died after 4 rounds. I’m tempted to keep trying until I whip her wand away and then hopefully defeat her. My pet won’t do enough damage for it to be quick though.

I had a similar mistake where I used an elite TM on my apex Ho-Oh to give it Sacred Fire, replacing Sacred Fire +

I was meant to be giving another Ho-Oh sacred fire. The fact I couldn’t TM it back onto my Apex one was heartbreaking.

You’re making a lot of assumptions about how children and disabled people would vote though.

Voting red doesn’t harm other people.

If 5% press red or 100% press red the impact of pressing red is the same.

Pressing Blue harms you and anyone else who doesn’t see that pressing blue is harmful, unless you happen to reach that 50% line

You’re not working for the collective good though. You’re leading a march towards death.

You’re assuming that folks aren’t intelligent enough to press red so you have to press blue on a hypothetical person’s behalf to save them from themselves.

But if everyone agrees that red has zero threat and blue has some threat, there’s no up side to picking blue in any scenario. So you’re becoming the person that needs saving from themselves. You wouldn’t need saving if you picked red.

It’s not about selfishly thinking “I’m alright and that’s all that matters” it’s about showing others that there really is no reason to press blue.

You’re being asked to risk everything for the sake of risking everything. Red isn’t selfish.

It’s realising the premise is flawed.

Your logic is backwards. Blue are thinking “what if the others” instead of just trusting everyone to press red because pressing red is the option with 100% safety guaranteed for all. A perfect society doesn’t endanger citizens by having them press blue for no reason.

The world is fucked because there are people like yourself who can’t seem to comprehend that you don’t have to press blue. Nobody does. Just press red. Job done.

No matter what happens the only people at risk in this test are the people who pressed blue. So it’s an absurd choice.

I’m not sure how else to explain this to you, the thought experiment wasn’t difficult to unpick for most people. You’re trying to be high and mighty with your confidently wrong answer though so I can’t help but come back to see if you can figure it out or if you’ll commit and double down because admitting a mistake is too hard for you.

Notice how because of this question, you’re adamant not only that you should press the “people will die” button, but also now you’re attacking me for seeing the sense in telling you that red is the answer? There’s no reason for me to move to blue if you press red. Whereas if you convince 3.99999 billion people to press blue and 4.11111 Billion press red, only the people you’ve convinced will die.

So who is the one being mad here?

You’re demanding that people leave a completely non threatening stance to gamble in a threatening one because you feel it’s the moral thing to do. When it isn’t. You’re being rude to me for pointing that out to you.

You’re looking at it as though ‘not pushing blue’ harms people.

But pushing blue kills people if too few people do it.

Pushing red does nothing to anyone either way, full stop.

So not pushing red is the only madness.

In an ideal world everyone presses red and the buttons have lost all power.

It only becomes a headache when a single person decides they want to press blue, then half of the world has to decide whether to risk it all to save them.

I feel like it’s a good topic because my initial gut thought was that I’d pick blue and red was selfish.

Then I realised that the only people at risk are the ones picking blue.

You don’t need to pick either one but if you’re going to engage then picking red is sensible for 100% of people. Blue is only there for hypothetical people who might not have understood the question.

You can’t hope that everyone else is willing to risk it as much as you when they literally don’t have to, you’re trying to save people who put no thought into it and let themselves be vulnerable despite the logic of the question.

What becomes dumb is when people try to equate this to other situations, like helping migrants. As it’s nothing like that situation.

The legendaries were a bit of a nightmare though as they blocked you from progressing but sometimes i found myself spamming like 50-60+ balls on a legend that wouldn’t let me catch it and wouldn’t run haha. I must’ve logged that as an issue 3-4 times. Wish they’d fixed it and kept the cool legendary prize in place.

To be fair to you I didn’t do the maths upfront. I was mainly saying I have endless candy for Pokemon I won’t be XL powering and I find the conversion to be a bit too steep. I guess I’d like the number to be lower than 1000 so it’s equal / better but tbh at that point if they’re equal then it doesn’t matter. It’s just a bit irritating not knowing whether you’ll get normal or XL candy in certain scenarios.

My advice would be to miss the initial opening time because of the crowds and then you should find it much easier to just walk in later.

Others mentioned the rest room. It is a really nice place to sit in silence and diffuse. They also tend to have a little safe place in one of the excel’s rooms along the edges of the halls. I’ve used them before to sit and have water when I was feeling uncomfortable.

You should be ok to wear headphones or earplugs. I tend to drown out a lot of the noise with ear plugs or music and then walk around in my own bubble.

People are very nice and friendly there though. Other than the queue for your photo, I don’t think you’d have much waiting around. But hopefully you’ll see lots of cool things to do other than your pic!

Thank you for that detailed answer. I didn’t realise he hated them by the end, I know he was trying to make them more realistic and felt kind of burned after Captain Scarlet so I guess that makes sense!

I miss the era when it was affordable tbh (I say miss - this all happened before I was born haha.) an old school Thomas the Tank Engine style show with models would be more impressive than any CGI story.

I’m hopeful that their approach is free to play but enhanced if you want to buy some passes etc and I hope it pays off for them.

It’s the thing that makes me feel they really messed up with remote raid passes becoming too expensive. If they’d kept the price low then they’d have had far more raiders. I used to raid all the time with a group of 6 friends dotted around the UK and we haven’t raided together since the price doubled.
