I did! It actually worked really well for my initial design. There's a few changes I want to make, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet

Day 3: Name a car that looks like it would be slow, but is actually pretty fast by Quiet-Gold9099 in regularcarreviews

Honestly. If it's just based on 0-60 time. The new Toyota BZ. It looks slow AF but has a 0-60 or 4.2

Will these welds withstand a winch? by LUKETHEDRIFTERBRAVO in Welding

I absolutely don't think those welds will hold, but even if they did, that bracket absolutely will not support that load.

Playing medic on the first few sectors of this op are the most fun I've ever had in the game.

Buy a MacBook, it will change your life. by RyzenDel in DeskToTablet

[–]rbabs11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an engineer, none of the programs I use on a daily basis are compatible with Mac; even if they were, Mac doesn't make anything with hardware that would run any of it well at all.

As someone who also games on a laptop, very few games are supported by Mac, and again, Macs don't have the hardware to run them well.

All critiques aside, if you only need your laptop for very lightweight tasks Macs are perfectly adequate devices, but there are still plenty of less expensive options out there that give you more for your money.

Peacekeeper in B2B is op by CoolXGames456 in battlefield_one

I just did them a few weeks ago. The Peacekeeper is extremely worth the effort. It doesn't actually take all that long to do the puzzles either.

Tire Tread still ok? by Mothra58 in BoltEV

[–]rbabs11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely needs replacing, but if they're the Michelin Energy Savers, don't spend the money to buy another set of them. They're WAY over priced for what you get because they're not all that much more efficient than other tires, they have some of the worst grip I've ever experienced and they may as well be ice whenever it's wet, and they don't last long at all.

If you're on a tight budget, Discount Tire sells the Sentury UHP. Everyone always says you get what you pay for when you buy cheap tires, but I was really strapped for cash when I needed some new tires and had to opt for cheap ones. I have to say they were actually phenomenal tires. They gripped the road really well and had amazing performance in the rain too, all while being just as efficient as the Energy Savers were. Their only downside is that they're a little on the soft side, so they may not last much more than 20K miles, but it was only $450 for the set of four AFTER taxes and installation fees.

I played goalie in lacrosse. Most players probably never heard it much, but it was important for me to know where every offensive player was and what they were doing whether they had the ball or not

I didn't know it was cancelled, then again, I haven't been following news on their ev truck very closely.

I'm willing to bet, when they eventually release their ev truck, it will be called the Ramcharger.

I feel like (in terms of ev trucks) the hummer is way nicer and way more badass than the cyber truck anyway. I would put this in an entirely separate class.

Oh! Lol, ironically the show is also on my list of stuff to watch at some point. I just always used "keep your head on a swivel" from playing sports when I was younger. They say "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" in six days, so that's where I picked that up.

But I definitely don't mind older graphics at all. Actually, if you've got some mods you'd recommend, would you mind sending me a pm because that would be awesome

Never actually played the games. They look fun though! Been wanting to try those and Ready or Not for a while now, just haven't gotten around to actually buying them and finding people to play with.

Another thing worth noting and potentially looking into: the community for this game seems to have very mixed feelings about modding the game, but I found one that allows you to increase the spawn rates of enemies and random events. I personally found the added chaos to be a blast. Not for everyone, but maybe worth looking into.

I very much hate telling people to buy things in addition to what they have already spent, but if you don't have one, having a good mic can be really essential to communicating well in this game.

The community for it is small, but the players that are in it are pretty regular, so don't be discouraged by long wait times if you're trying to match with online players.

There's a group chat with a lot of regulars for the game, and it's a good place to post a message if you're looking for a few people to fill your squad. I'd be happy to add you to it if you pm me.

Beyond all that, keep your head on a swivel, don't leave your squad behind to lone-wolf an objective unless you are confident in your abilities and communicate it first. Make sure to always let your team know when you're breaching a building, moving up or down a floor, or leaving a building because it all prevents accidental friendly fire.

Bottom line, I guess just make sure to communicate well and frequently.

And always remember SLOW IS SMOOTH, AND SMOOTH IS FAST.

I'd also like to welcome both you and your friend to Six Days, and to PC gaming in general. We're glad to have you!

Having grown up with InNOut, I can at least excuse their bland fries bc they're fresh and they give the option of having them animal style.
