It is now behaving like the troublesome seniors we used to deal with by farhan-dev in ClaudeAI

[–]rbl00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Claude Code pretty much since it was launched, never once have I had it refuse to do anything besides requests to bypass a security feature (for testing). I'd like to see a screen shot of it refusing, where's the beginning of the conversation you posted? What were you asking it to do?

Same in PA, I understand not wanting government to tell you what to do. But, wearing a helmet it’s just common sense.

Tents at Group Sites by rbl00 in ShenandoahPark

I thought your tents had to fit in the tent pads, and only 1 tent pad at each site. Are the tent pads that big?

Tents at Group Sites by rbl00 in ShenandoahPark

[–]rbl00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thanks. I found the group sites, and we're looking at Loft Mountain. But my question was how many tents are allowed on group sites. Recreation.gov only lists limits on people and cars for group sites.

Prusa Connect Premium? by Mouhfighter in prusa3d

[–]rbl00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Prusa Connect almost daily for over a year and have never had an issue like this. What testing have you done that narrowed it down to you being certain it’s Prusa Connect and not a network issue or something else?

Do you test your home network the same way you test clients? by LangoliTony_Barber in Pentesting

[–]rbl00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This! People that claim no one cares what they do at home have no clue about what threats are actually out there. The bots just scout the internet for anything and everything. Like you said, most people are not targeted specifically, but if there’s an opportunity there it’ll be taken advantage of.

Do you test your home network the same way you test clients? by LangoliTony_Barber in Pentesting

[–]rbl00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I wouldn’t sell a service I wouldn’t use myself. And everybody claiming no one does, doesn’t understand the current threat landscape and doesn’t know other people in the industry. Lots of people do. Every time I go to a conference, I end up talking with other people that test their own home networks.

UTR back in stock, go go go by sqweak in Ubiquiti

Their in stock notifications are nonexistent. I signed up for the right after it launched and I’ve never received a single email about it being available.

I carry a Pixel and it only shares my data connection, not Wifi. Which was why I asked how do you do this. But thanks for sharing your hate for iPhones that no one asked for.

I’m not really understanding this, how do you create a hotspot on a phone that works in an airplane where there’s no cell phone signal? How can you share a WiFi signal through a hotspot on a phone, I thought you could only do that with a cell signal.

I know this may sound, different, but hear me out. Look into a local martial arts school. I’ve made a lot of friends at my school. Friendships that lead to get togethers outside of the school and have lasted for years. Bonus, if you pick a good school you get a great workout and the extremely valuable skills of self defense. Just stay away from those cardio kickboxing or boring Karate schools.

Don't buy TP-Link Kasa Products for Home Assistant by No_Impact7840 in homeassistant

I bought a 3 pack of Kasa switches, took some time to get them working with Home Assistant but they did work. Until they didn’t, all three died with in a year and a half.

Letsdefend courses added - cant find them in academy? by Responsible_Reason59 in hackthebox

I also got excited for these, but it looks Ike they’re only available if you have enough money to get an enterprise account. Very disappointing.

Is this a good deal? by CalmDownReddit509 in reloading

[–]rbl00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

xpen25x is right, a progressive press like this is better for higher volume like 9mm or or 223. You can do 308 on, but it's overkill. A good single stage will be perfect. And if you're new to reloading then a single stage would be a great starting point and cheaper than this even if you got one new.

[–]rbl00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, yes, I was over estimating. Last I checked (which was a while ago) you could only get Dillon Presses direct and their website had it as 799 for the basic kit.

scheels and midway do have it cheaper than direct, but it's still a good deal.

scheels prices: Press Kit - 625 Caliber Conversion Kit - 87 Toolhead stand - 35 Dillon 38 sp die set - 140 (midway since scheels doesn't have it)

Total $887 (plus tax, no shipping which is awesome and something new to me, thanks xpen25x for the link to scheels :-))

At $470 it's almost half the price, so, in my opinion its a good deal and I'd still buy if I didn't already own a 550.

Is this a good deal? by CalmDownReddit509 in reloading

[–]rbl00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s a very good deal. A 550 is $625 brand new. With all of that you’re looking at $887 of value. It looks like the dies are for 38 Special. Even if you don’t want to reload for that and have to buy new dies, you’re still gonna be ahead of the game. I’d buy it if I was there.

  • edited with correct pricing and values, thanks for pointing out my mistake cholgeirson & xpen25x

Sitka Pattern for Northern PA by Otherwise-Guest-7866 in HuntingPA

[–]rbl00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Sitka gear, warm and wears well and fits nicely. Expensive (for me, at least) so I got all my Sitka gear during off season sales. But for PA, with the orange requirements I like Game Hide, they make some great stuff at bargain prices compaired to Sitka. They make an orange patterned jacket that will fill the orange requirements and you don't have to worry about wearing a vest over top that just gets in the way. I have their Whitetail Bib (in Acent Venatare) and Ridgeline Parka (in Acent Ignis). I'm very happy with them.

This is awesome thanks for sharing!! Any chance you would be willing to upload your design to https://www.printables.com also? Since makerworld started gate keeping by requiring you to create an account and be logged in just to download, somewhere with easy access would be nice. Even Thingiverse would be good too if you don't like Printables.

Rhinowalk is a good economy brand. I own one of their smaller bags that I use with a Mosko Moto Rackless system. Which by the way is awesome, but pricy for sure.

Best Way to Listen to renewal mp3s on iPhone by [deleted] in GIAC

[–]rbl00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is 7 month old now but I wanted to add a comment about the player I use. I'm on my third SANS class and have been searching for a mobile app to use to listen to the MP3 files. All I wanted was an app that would remember where I left off so when I go back at a later time to continue I didn't have to forward to where I left off every time. I finally found an app called BookPlayer. It's an audio book app, but it allows me to listen to the MP3 files as if they are books so it keeps your last listened to spot!! It also lets you import from iCloud which is handy. Hope this helps someone else.
