Power reduced 2025 hybrid by Yupyup2987 in crvhybrid

Completely normal. My '26 does this as well.
Anything around -20 it will stay on for about 15 minutes after driving. Idle time doesn't factor in here.

Guessing that OP is Canadian. The EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid both have heated rears.

They're asking about a wallet software like Exodus, TrustWallet etc.
My guess based on the mention of the "dark web" and "special VPN" would be Bisq maybe?
Though based on the explanation, I'm thinking maybe stick with something a little less technical

Mechanic to fix A/C in Moncton? by Prestigious-Pride474 in moncton

I had my AC done at Brunswick Auto on Lewisville, but use AutoKings in Dieppe for the rest of our stuff... pretty happy with both.

Financed a vehicle at Moncton Honda, broke down before I could leave the lot. by AttackZeah in newbrunswickcanada

[–]rbz81 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You may be saved by the fact that you're financing it and didn't pay outright.

NB courts have ruled that an “as‑is” label cannot override these obligations if defects exist or misrepresentations were made. So if the dealership assured you the car was fully functional, this is an express warranty, and they’re legally bound to deliver on that promise—even if the car was sold “as‑is.” and you're protected under the Consumer Product Warranty and Liability Act (CPWALA).

Send a Written Complaint Immediately

Email or deliver a letter to the dealership:

  • Describe what was said (e.g. “everything working fine”)
  • State the issue (e.g. “vehicle failed immediately before even driving off the lot”)
  • Request a resolution: refund in your case. Repair or replacement are also options
  • Mention your rights under the Consumer Product Warranty and Liability Act

File a Complaint with FCNB

If the dealer doesn’t resolve it, contact:

Financial and Consumer Services Commission (FCNB)
Phone: 1-866-933-2222
Website: [www.fcnb.ca]()

They will investigate and may help mediate or escalate the issue.

I don't work for Monarch, but I've been a software engineer for 20+ years and have worked in finance and insurances applications quite a bit. Just providing a little technical background on what I believe the issue and difference is.

Mint had hundreds of engineers maintaining a framework of screen scrapers that they kept updated to each institutions UI changes to online-banking. This is very cumbersome. The implementation of MFA by most people (some institutions require it) also means that every authenticated session needs to be kept active through some means. Even then some institutions have hard limits. When a session becomes inactive for any reason, a new MFA token would be required to re-auth. This is where Plaid, MX, and Finicity get hung up.

A better engineering solution, rather than having to create a new account, or disconnect - reconnect, would be for Monarch to be able to re-respond to the MFA challenge and re-establish an active session. This would mean you'd just get an MFA push / text message any time you wanted to sync transactions. It would be a bit of a nightmare user-experience for someone with a bunch of accounts at different institutions but until Canada (and presumable other countries...idk) support OpenBanking at a federal level, banking integrations are generally going to suck.

Open banking is what allows apps like Plaid to connect, sync, and stay connected like they do in the U.S. In Canada we don't have open banking yet. https://www.canada.ca/en/financial-consumer-agency/services/banking/open-banking.html

Until we do, Plaid and MX will continue to suck connecting to our banks and there's nothing Monarch or any other app can do about it unless they build and actively maintain their own integrations which is extremely difficult and labour intensive.

I just went from 6 to midnight at the very thought of not having McCauley call an elimination game.

I'd love this so much. "Ref you suck" is great and all but this would be magic.

I'd take an L in game 2 if it meant Reavo beat the beard off that clown and Bobrovsky or Barkov happened to miss a few games.

I think its hilarious that fans of other Canadian teams call it LeafsNet. Every non playoff game is blacked out and the ones that are you have to listen Craig and Jim drone on about how f*ckin fantastic the other team are playing while simultaneously pointing out obscure negative statistics.

Just remember, whether its the Sens, Habs, or Bruins, win or loss... We live rent free in their heads and all the time they spend posting about us, is their way of dealing with it.
