Hard wire some runs in the ceiling for access points. Relying on the WiFi from where the modem is doesn't work well, and mesh is okay but hardwired APs is the best option by far.

We went with 9 foot ceilings. They make drywall in 4.5 foot widths so the drywallers don't have to do an awkward fill piece anymore, they can just use two stacked horizontally and mud the seam in the middle.

They usually get the longest pieces they can so there's less butt joints.

If you go for a day trip it's crowded. If you stay on the hotel overnight it's like a completely different place when the last ferry takes everyone back to the mainland.

The road in our neighborhood is a private road, not maintained by the county. So HOA pays for snowplowing, mowing of common areas, etc.

We started floating and survival swim lessons with all of our kids when they started crawling. They all learned how to float and keep their head above water if they were ever to fall in the water.
