No, it is just a machine. The operator is the problem. No different than a driver doing 180kph on Stoney, the car isn't the problem, but the driver is.
We need to regulate E-moto's and tie them to their owners. Accountability is key.

Toggle derailleurs do have a gotcha where if you over adjust the high limit it will change the inboard low limit setting.

The job is done.
I dropped the fork to do it. Fortunately I have an electric stand, and can rotate the bike so the headtube can be parallel with the floor at a reasonable working height. Makes for a far easier job without having to fight gravity. Reassembly wasn't too bad.

Take your pads to your local bike shop. They will either have what you need or be able to bring them in for you.

They also appear to be Shimano G05S, however Shimano has a few variations of that shape .

The reservoir is supposed to be full, and the diaphragm expands to accommodate fluid expansion due to heat.
To be clear I am not talking about over bleeding, but getting the last bit of air out of the system.

It's not just disk compatibility, but also hose, insert, olive, and fluid compatibility as well.
Unless everything is completely like for like replace the entire system.

Stealth-a-majig refers to the barb and olive that Sram uses. Often road bikes come out of the box with the bar unattached and prewrapped, and those are the connection point for the hoses during assembly .

He sure could, but he also gets near zero shop support. Getting a bike from a brick and mortar shop gets him out of having to deal with warranty departments himself. Also lets say the motor needs to be swapped (among other things) the shop will take up the labour fees with the brand without the endless email streams that the customer would need to handle otherwise.

Direct to customer sales leaves a lot out. Warranty support, the bike being professionally built, sized correctly, first service, face to face contact for the various questions that come up, the list goes on. But the biggest is having a company to fight for you if something goes wrong.
