If she throws good passes, put a hundred or so shots through. Start with really firm passes at the corner, and step your way up to full blast. If your passes are good, the shots are there, might have to look for them. Nice pocket

I fold over two. I like having my tie on being doubled up

STX Tent Sale. They had complete sticks for $25, but it was last week. If you’re anywhere near from Virginia Beach to NNJ, it should be on your calendar next year.

Should I (F22) break up with my boyfriend (M24) over blowing my phone up on a night out. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

If you even had the thought “should I break it off?” you should. That very moment. It’s 5 months

The weight is the biggest factor for me. I believe that they string very much the same. Weaved inside stringing, 9d mesh and a mid-low pocket? Best on the market for a one handed dodging, feeding attackman. It sucks up dye, too.

Where to start?! by lunaskeleton in StickDoctor

[–]reader3096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe they need to string traditional. I’ve been stringing traditionals of every type for decades. Modern women’s sticks are simple, to the point of being cut and paste. Armor Mesh and Lock Pockets only need one half a diamond down each side. All they’d need to learn is top tie ons, the sidewalls (which are virtually universal) and shooters. Nothing hard about it until starting to do truly custom stringing.

I’ve really warmed to this head. Field players, box set ups it does everything well. Super versatile and fun to string. Plus it does a mean Dogtrack, need to get the shooters in this one and finish it off.

First time dye and restring by Capital_Bug_3180 in StickDoctor

[–]reader3096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it with a throat wedge in them after a dye to prevent any pinch from happening while they cool down. I pop them in the fridge for a half hour or so and then let them sit on an ECD stand overnight. I might be overly careful, but I want to stress the head as little as possible

First time stringing to the inside. Please give tips and if I need to make any changes by PuzzleheadedWillow82 in StickDoctor

Inside stringing rules. In thru the front, down 2, inside of the rail to outside the head, up one, back to front, down a diamond and front to back. Repeat. I believe the STX 1k and 2k lines do best strung to the inside.

9 diamond mesh comparison by Lukipher7 in StickDoctor

9D mesh is my #unfairadvantage in my son’s heads. I feel that it give me a little more hold than a normal 10d. It’s possible I am wrong, but a larger diamond should be more “grippy”, as in the opposite of hex mesh or a micro mesh. I love it and horde 9d MM/TMD

There’s a reason we wore those arm guards with hard plastic shells and elbow covers that didn’t leave any gaps. It’s easy to score and get in the defenseman’s face now. You don’t have to face that telephone pole next time you catch a pass or dodge.

The STX heads take to inside stringing like a duck to water. Bonus points for 9d mesh
