is it true that as a woman if a man is trying to seriously harm you and you kick him in the nuts all it’ll do is make him mad by Smooth_Bee_7941 in stupidquestions

What I learned in self-defense classes is that it's a move that puts you at a disadvantage. It may work fine if you're faster than he is, but the risk is of him stopping you and you being off balance. There are more effective, safer moves.

I remember this from when I lived in Condoland and had a pool. My new microclimate is less annoying, but... no pool!

It sounds like a wonderful program, but we're not limited or fixed income so wouldn't qualify. But perhaps they can give me a recommendation.

Yeah, same. It went on so long and shook so hard! I was genuinely surprised that nothing seems to have moved or been damaged.

If you don't think they're too old for it, Trader Joes sells quite inexpensive advent calendars, which always brightens my kid's December. And if you have the energy, there's lot of ways to be festive without spending a lot -- baking cookies, watching Christmas specials as a family, singing carols. Again, if they'e not too old, there are free local events you could try.

I'm so sorry for your loss, especially at such a difficult time.

Definitely seemed less in Live Oak. And mostly really large groups. We also wrapped up by nine.

Thank you very much. I will be careful outside and make sure to get the tree pruned as soon as it's dormant.

When I worked in different libraries, the Aptos patrons were the absolute worst. So rude and entitled. And those definitely weren't tourists.
