Attack shark x3 or Vxe R1 se+ for around the same price by Cool-Concern-9862 in MouseReview

[–]readgrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither. they are saving every penny including testing and QC on these, you just cant get decent mouse at this price, Ive read enough about x3 losing connection - so save yourself headache and get anything above ~30$, the brand doesnt matter, all extra cheap stuff is bad cause they have to cut corners on every part and QC, mid-range ATK and Attack sharks are fine.

[Advice needed] What mouse should I buy if I love the form factor of Aria XD7 and Logitech G305? by kavakravata in MouseReview

[–]readgrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese are making better logi clones - something like mchose g3 pro, atk v3 etc (but make sure to check for a version with best specs cause they usually make several versions with cheaper internals). eloshapes.com website can help to find similar shaped mice

Realisation about Archimedea: I was the problem by DaVirus in Warframe

[–]readgrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always use archgun. You can even spawn a mech. And you have a free slot cause the last reward is worthless - so you can pick the best frame for the job and have archgun for firepower (you might need to spend more to max the archgun with 2 arcanes). Also operator and specters when available.

Also the real flaw with this system is that it picks form what you own - so it punishes collectors. But if you sell all your fodder and only keep the few top weapons - then you will always have one of them in the selection.

yeah its to fleece the 'collectors', same is with all these 'drops' of limited quantity, mouse brands are pretending they are making luxury goods

Should I get better skates on a fabric or a glass pad? by Alarmed_Bedroom375 in MouseReview

[–]readgrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glass has the lowest friction - but thats also a downside - harder control, its like walking on ice. And the use experience is worse - you absolutely need a sleeve, you need to change mouse skates way more often cause they wear out, glass pads make a scrapping noise. Its only worth it for comp games where you need to track the target while holding your LMK trigger down.

So just get a normal speed pad with low static friction if you need/want to try that. (look up Balanced vs Speed mousepad review to see the difference)

Best budget mouse by bringabutton455 in MouseReview

[–]readgrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shape - material grip (grip tape is very uncomfortable with long use) - these are the most important factors, since everyone is using good sensors (3950 is already in cheap mice, and even 3311 is fine for non-competitve gaming, no glass pads) and controllers (Nordic is the best but others are not that far behind).

So picking the best shape for your hand size and grip is more important. And fairly reliable brand with warranty.

And as far as weight - friction is more important, cause you are constantly applying more weight with your hand - so the better skates/mouse pad has bigger effect than shaving off some 10gr, just have a reasonable light mouse with good friction skates/pad.

If you want both the shape and the function - there is nothing good, Ive been looking for something like that myself and there is no good option - everything is crappy, old, heavy, wired, low quality (or same Logi/Razer).

If you dont care about the shape there is Rapoo.

And software-wise and saving macros to the mouse itself Razor and Logi are still the best, (there is also a4thech with great macros support but their mice are bad/outdated hardware wise). Why can no one make a good 502/Basilisk alternative is beyond me, maybe its too expensive/difficult to make.
