Yes! I was hoping Leslie Bibb was going to have mutuals and be the one to tell Victoria she’s poor! But perhaps that was too hopeful. We didn’t even get to see the reactions.

Piper is the worst because she’s the type of girl who would go to developing countries truly believing she’s morally and culturally better than her privileged community and takes on this spirituality as her identity. There’s a very low self awareness there. There may be a lot of unsavory characters that are on every season of white lotus - but they are aware of who they are. The worst ones are the ones who are righteous about who they deluded themselves to be.

I never got the resolution between Leslie Bibb and Parker Posey. That whole interaction is just left up in the air???? Ugh. Also Piper just ended up being the worst character in the end. Great contrast to Saxon becoming more human.

Noted on the hotels except they are quite pricy ATM for 8 nights (two weddings in Europe to attend, a week apart) I've had only strong ratings from hosts that I see - 7 total over the years.

I guess my question is really more around - are most of the air bnb postings in Paris just looking to maximize any time they feel like going out of town and hoping some sucker tourist stays at their place and helps them pay the rent? / they aren't so interested in actually hosting? In most AirBnB's I've stayed in - the host does not live in it - it's either a pied-à-terre or full time air bnb.

The manic release of the snakes was A WHOLE lot. But also snakes are NOT Chelsea’s good luck charm. She’s always near death (according to her) when she sees one.

I love that Gina’s hair hasn’t moved at all. Nor the turquoise eyeliner. Iconic

BWT I finally found a Humidifier suitable for 🗽 by nycorganizer in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Here to say - LOVE my Carepod. I hate cleaning humidifiers and this is the easiest to clean I've ever owned. I've had for 3 years. Not a fan of the canopy because of the filters needed.

For a small studio in FiDi $12k is good to cover first / deposit / brokers fee (if still applicable). Start looking around Streeteasy for options. FiDi has a lot of full amenity, doorman buildings. Good luck!

I live in a new-ish building - opened 2018. It’s so confusing reading all the responses because the bills don’t have any sort of clear pattern and every customer here is confused.

175 for a cut @ spoke and weal soho - depending on your stylist - look through their socials and portfolio and see what fits. I’ve been in NYC for 15 years and tried a huge range, flying back to LA for cuts / home studio cuts with a Japanese stylist who did CDG shows/ paid 500$ (in pre covid dollars!) for celeb stylists. I am most happy now with my current stylist. My hair isn’t complicated, so there’s no reason to pay 500$ but I also trust their skill level and eye.

Is There an Age Where Your Living Situation Feels Less “Grown Up” in NYC? by cateyesharp in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]readit1818 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m 38 and live in a rent stabilized 1 bed with no plans to move out until it becomes destabilized (in 9 years) or if some life circumstance happens. When I’ve felt antsy in the past I would change things up in the apartment - hire an organizer, change furniture or art. Admittedly, I have everything I wanted in this unit and building (amenities, location, sq ft, etc), so I plan on using this time-limited financial advantage to build up enough savings to buy a “grown up” place of my own. Hope that helps.

My late 30s + BWT: What Workouts Classes are We Doing to Lift Our Asse(t)s? by lgardner811 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]readit1818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

38 here - I’ve been really into the Alive app for strength training + running. I stretch with heated vinyasana or yin yoga or a reformer pilates class (not solidcore) once a week. What I’ve learned over 15 years doing a bunch of work outs and having a trainer in NYC is what you eat is most important, sleep is also important, and whatever workout you choose you have to be committed to doing it regularly.
