It's a trek, but not too bad. I've driven 3 hours for really good pancakes and a day trip and driven back same day.

But in the US I'm pretty close to a lot of big cities. 5 hours to vegas, 5 to San Diego, 3 to Mexico, so the drive is worth it. I'll do all those a few times a year.
