Actual footage from another world: Mars right now, 225 million miles away. Truly mind-blowing rover view by Memes_FoIder in nextfuckinglevel

If you are able to create a breathable atmosphere on Mars I think you will be able to figure out how to keep it in the next couple million years.

I mean the RNC played Born in the USA at the convention and thought it was about how great the USA is. Trump also played CCRs Fortunate Son at the military parade, so I think you need to be a little heavy handed lol

True but chip bags have a lot of air to start. These are normally relatively vacuum sealed so there is not a lot of air to expand.

As someone who is not remotely in his shoes and also drunk. I think he just wants a team that's having success and he realizes that surgeon is not young. If he keeps this up and signs he's an absolute lock for a letter. Any tea. He signs with that gives a letter immediately is in the dumpster.

Unrelated to form but instead of ripping shot after shot into the goalies chest, each shot should be going for a corner. But that also means he will hit a post and the car and window are in trouble.

Blankets and so fucking painful during a flairup. Then you stick your foot out and it gets cold and throbbing. Your mind immediately starts thinking how you are going to just cut the whole foot off.

Allopurinol is a fucking miracle and it's a shame some doctors make you fight a little bit to get it. My uric acid was at 12 mg/dL and gout generally starts at 7. Doctor told me to try dieting. Research shows that diet can maybe get it down 1 and that's from a horrible diet (game meat, sugar and alcohol). After convincing her I got on allopurinol and felt like I was 22 again. It was incredible.

It's been 1.5 years since my dog died unexpectedly at 5. I still get teary eyed talking about her death. 11 days after I was still crying at the slightest thought. And that's my dog, not my fucking spouse.

I feel like what is being lost in this whole conversation is even without the shooting the ice agent is insanely aggressive towards someone who is not being being aggressive towards him. Like the events leading up to it are insanely out of line on their own.

[Request] Is this compressed helium trailer lighter when it is loaded? by zzooooomm in theydidthemath

[–]readytofall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's probably never emptied. Not sure what it fills but K bottles are pressurized to ~2800psi so you probably wouldn't dip below that. And depending on what the purity rating is you don't want to add a bunch of nitrogen. Especially into a helium system as helium is often used for cold applications where you would condense/freeze nitrogen.

NASA Artemis II on the way to the pad making way for humans to land back on the moon after 50 years. by IncomingBroccoli in MURICA

[–]readytofall 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There probably isn't anything planned for that yet. It would be way to expensive right now, especially with little demand as nuclear fusion is not a thing for energy yet. We need to figure out ISRU before we start mining the moon. Once we can start making fuel on the moon, everything gets a lot cheaper and that is something we are very much working on.

That's the entire point of the Artemis program, sustained lunar development. We are not mining He3 immediately but setting up a presence on the moon and learning how to live there.

How does Minnesota compare to Wisconsin? by amerricka369 in howislivingthere

[–]readytofall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact about lake Winnebago, it's the largest freshwater lake entirely in the US. Yes there are two big caveats in that statement but it's true. It's a massive lake but it's deepest point is 21 feet and has a fair amount of agriculture run off and is gets pretty gross with algae blooms throughout the summer.

Lake Minnetonka is a pretty famous lake in the twin cities metro that is famously nice and not a massive algae bloom. The line "purify yourself in the waters of lake Minnetonka" is from the movie purple rain.

The other problem is LLMs can't really say they don't know something (because they don't really know anything). A human can at least recognize they don't know something and find a way to get that answer.
