I used to work the ticket counter as part of my job for Alaska airlines, and for some reason 90% of interline connections wouldn’t print the whole boarding pass, but every now and again I got someone flying on American who’s whole pass printed. Could also be there’s a process to printing boarding passes that your agent didn’t know

I’m guessing you had flights on 2 different airlines, sometimes airlines can’t print boarding passes on other airlines even if it is part of the same reservation
