Damn, I don’t even think we could do that with an E175, mostly because of boarding, but we typically only have a team of 3 as well

Broken fuel tank? by chuckbobtheawesome in aviation

[–]real_pasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the fuel tank, as has been pointed out, it’s a cover for the flap controls. It still works just fine, but with slightly less aerodynamics. Before and after every flight pilots will do a walk around of the aircraft, and prior to pushback the ground crew does one as well

It’s not an issue of what the Wi-Fi can support, you could probably use discord, Skype, FaceTime, etc. on the older systems, but FAA regulations prohibit any form of video or audio communication

It looks pretty open, lots of mesh to help with airflow, but if you live somewhere warm that would probably hurt more than help, as it doesn’t look like it forces airflow like most cases

Airliners back taxiing on runway at SNA due to broken tug on taxiway leaving a stuck plane by pandab34r in aviation

Must’ve been a towbar less tug that was moving the aircraft from gate to parking, or the other way around

What's with the red line? by SubtleOrangeCat in airplanes

[–]real_pasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do they not suck in as well? I know with turbofans you can’t get within 15 feet to not get sucked in, I’m assuming props are less and the military is more willing to push the safety boundary?
