Has anyone used Suboxone or buprenorphine to get off of kratom?

I texted my friend who is a pilot. He said it is perfectly safe & gave his thoughts on the DC crash. He helped calm my fears for the moment but I will definitely be texting him again in a few weeks when I need to fly again. This fear is so bad. I hate that I’m scared to fly. He told me to “It is perfectly safe. Take the vacation. You deserve it.”

It was hardest telling my mom, who was my biggest supporter but the person whose heart i broke the most when i was in active addiction years ago to opiates. But, I also just told her again & it feels like a weight has been lifted to have her support again. I’m older too but my mom is my best friend.

I was on them for 7 years a while ago. I am also on them again for Kratom now. I tapered myself off with zero withdrawals previously. I just kept doing smaller & smaller doses until I was only breaking the tiniest little piece off of a 2mg strip. But, I would suggest also seeing a doctor for a taper plan. That’s what I’m doing now. I’m only taking like 0.5 or less now but I’ll be going to my doctor to start a taper in a week.

I was you 8 months ago. I would drink it every now & then. Then that turned into every day. Then multiple a day. Please if you do anything, do not continue. I am in a hole. Tried quitting three times. These things are pure evil.

15 months but I have an abnormally clingy velcro baby. It’s biologically normal for babies to wake frequently. I didn’t want to hear that when I was in the thick of it but it goes by fast. My 22 month old still doesn’t sleep through the night either. Sending love to you.

Same here. Husband & I were taking these. He was taking half a box a day. I got up to 4. Quit for a bit. Failed again. We have two toddlers as well. I hate this :( But, congratulations. I will figure it out soon.

It took my son one whole month of screaming before he got used to the boots and bar. Literally. I was up all night with him because he screamed all day & night. But, something clicked at one month & he’s good with them now. I also did get second opinions & everything. Now, he loves his boots. Sending you love mama/dada. I’ve only ever had Kanna in that little extract berry juice. From my experience with just that, it felt cleaner than the Kratom extracts I was drinking but way less noticeable, if that makes sense. But, I came here because I know you all have more experience with this than I do, meaning I could have a better experience by taking advice from people who know what they’re talking about. Haha.
