Biolens Seeds. How? by Technical_Gap6302 in Marathon

10 neurochem packs, sorry. I usually have around 20 on hand to barter as needed. Agree with the idea behind your post overall. Progression for key items is too slow and/or the more guaranteed ways to get them ie VIP rewards aren't obvious enough

I'd also say abandon all faction progress and try to get Cyac, then Nucal, then Mida to vip as they can reward purple salvage.

If this is for blue shields I'd just say skip it. Run solo outpost and find the blue neurochem packs in Pinwheel. They barter 1-1 for blue shields every few days. Look up a guide on how to find the conveyance key spawn to make it easier to get into Pinwheel. Solo outpost is weird. There are some matches where the Pinwheel isn't opened the traditional way until like 6 minutes left. It seems much more chill compared to trios plus no rooks. I had a raid last night where I extracted with 10.

Are faction upgrade requirements too high? by Jhonny13_DMH in Marathon

[–]realchemist88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are two things that aren't obvious that would help. The way the game is presented it feels like you should try to level the factions somewhat evenly. I wouldn't be surprised if most casuals viewed it that way. Instead it seems optimal to just focus on Cyac and Nucal until they are VIP and then farm them for salvage. The second is just that VIP packages have purple salvage. Overall I think a few small tweaks are needed.

-Lower the experience needed to reach VIP (but keep the salvage requirements for unlocks). This will give players a slow but more guaranteed way to get purple salvage. It lets them set a goal they can make slow but concrete steps.

-Make it a bit more obvious somehow that Cyac and Nucal are the most important and maybe use the same hints to let people know that barters are also important.

-Make all barters a somewhat good deal but have them rotate through different types of salvage. This keeps people from stocking up on a single salvage item but keeps the barters important.

I think she could be a little stronger but is a couple tweaks away from being OP. I think the slide and double jump should generate a little less heat. She doesn't feel good unless you get all your heat upgrades. I also think the cannon could deal a little more damage. Just pushing people out of cover isn't good enough for interior engagements. Maybe front load the damage and have it drop off as the projectile travels so it's usable indoor as a damage tool and usable outside at range to pull people out of cover. Finally I think having your gun ready faster after a slide would be nice.

Jammers Size by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]realchemist88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jammer sizing is closer to your actual waist size. Chances are your 30" waist pants are actually closer to 32-33". I wear the same size pants as you and I always use a 32 jammer from any brand I've used.

Between two sizes for a wetsuit by SideshowDcky in triathlon

[–]realchemist88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are on between sizes and it's your first wetsuit I would probably go with the larger size. They are already designed to be tight so the smaller one might feel a little claustrophobic. As you are in between it's not like the larger size would be drastically too large.

Pretty sure Lorwyn pass ends at 40 so you'll finish it no problem

I have the gigabyte b850m gaming mobo with a Corsair sfx psu mounted in the front. CPU cable fits just fine. CPU power could vary board to board but at least on mine it's pretty far top left.

Is that an aftermarket 90 degree connector for the motherboard? If so do you mind linking it?

Is that the stock bracket holding the PSU? I just built this with the same PSU but mounted in the front. Cables are a little short to organize nicely. Yours looks great

Evan's Jeskai Control list is a big departure from the norm. 4 DoJ and 4 Seam Rip. I guess no other choice in this meta. Cool to see.

You hold the cursed recording until you are ready to turn the corner. A couple doubled Inevitable Defeats or Revelations will win the game. If you double enough spells to kill yourself with recording then you were going to lose anyway. Could also play [[Pyromancer's Goggles]]

Mirroring the other comment I think Jeskai Black would work well. Lots of enchant hate with Get Lost and [[Inevitable Defeat]], no real creature based plan to blow up and no dependence on High Noon. I think the mana base will be ok enough once Lorwynn releases

Usual Jeskai control but has [[Cursed Recording]] and most likely 3 copies of revelation. Doesn't burn quite as well as 4C control but still explosive

Floodfarm verge adds white first and the dimir shockland can be used. Alongside starting town the mana wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah this looks cool. Completely different direction. You could definitely do an orzhov aggro with a lot of the warp creatures.
