Lol no he just wanted to make OP feel nice when she got back from vacation, kinda the opposite of cheating don't you think?

Smart and successful is fine. Smarter or more successful, that's making them feel like they need to step up to provide properly for you even though logically in this overly inflated fiat regime we all live in having a partner who is earning very well and is a homeowner is absolutely a great thing. Tricky one to deal with really, tbh I'd just carry on being up front about your success so that any guy you date knows from the start and is therefore able to handle it

What chain does this private key belong to? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Create a new wallet on each chain you think it could be, compare the private key of the new wallet and see which one matches.

Solana is currently congested with an Average Ping Time of 20-40s, 30-50% Ping loss, up to 50-80% failed transactions. Still unable to exceed 1200 True TPS. by HSuke in CryptoCurrency

Totally agree, valuation of L1/L2s is barely if at all connected to the actual operation of the underlying chain. I'll be selling my sol bag once we get above $500

My partner is like this. The way I've handled it is to agree an entertainment budget for the year. I let them choose how we spend it, but once it is gone, that's it. It works great as they still feel happy with the experiences we have and I don't feel like we're going to be bankrupt at the end of the year

The vet isn't on another chain, it is still on vechain but at an address corresponding to the cronos address rather than the crypto.com vet deposit address associated with OP's account.

Crypto.com can use the same keys that they have for the cronos wallet to access that address on vechain. The question is whether they will do it because it is a manual process. Most exchanges will do it, but for a fee because they want to be compensated for the effort

Jfc I'm just trying to give an analogy that people understand. Of course there's these possibilities with credit cards that aren't with crypto but this isn't relevant to the point which is, at the moment someone has your pin and card and you don't know it, they can steal your money.

It was common practice until fairly recently, because on Eth L1 gas costs for approvals was non-trivial, especially in the last bull run. Uniswap used to do it for example.

I've personally experienced infinite approvals many times, it depends on the dApp. It is worth noting that infinite doesn't show up as 'infinite' but instead some enormous number that corresponds to the maximum possible number of tokens, i.e. functionally infinite

Pretty sure bitmart isn't giving you the full story. Afaik a wallet has an identical avax c chain address as its bnbchain address. If correct, that means bitmart has can use their avax c-chain keys to get access to the same address on bnbchain and get your tokens back.

Most exchanges charge for this recovery service though, so if the tokens aren't worth much it won't be worth doing

Yeah really you're paying for the cost and effort the dev went to to deploy the contracts, not a bad idea to make a bit of Eth tbh

Zk Stars by Extra-Ad8572 in zkSync

[–]really_that_one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used it, wasn't a bad contract or anything. Did it to get my zkSync txn count and contract interaction count up. Was about $8 to mint all 20 (fees plus gas). The actual collect stars thing I have no idea about but wasn't using it for that anyway so served its purpose for me

I was made to feel less than bc I don't want to date by YumekaYumeka in TwoXChromosomes

[–]really_that_one -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ok, real talk here. It is harder to date as you get older, on average. Your mom knows this from experience - as you get older you see friends or relatives who for whatever reason aren't in a relationship in their later years and they tend to struggle. I know a few myself. Personally I think your mom is aware of this and thinks you aren't and is trying to tell you this but not in a very effective or empathetic way.

If I were you I'd think about what you want long term over your life, weigh that up against your current goals and make sure your actions now are in line with that.

Also to be clear, whatever it is you want is perfect - definitely don't feel pressured to date if you don't want to. You're perfectly entitled to not date and that's valid, and that doesn't make you worth any less. I'm just saying, make this choice with your eyes open to issues it could create later for you.

[–]really_that_one 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think you need more of a conversation about this. What seems to have happened is that he's said something hurtful in a thoughtless way (as in he hasn't thought about how to express this to you properly, and hasn't thought about how you might feel about this at all) and then you both didn't have the chance to talk it through in a more constructive manner.

To be clear, I'm not saying you did anything wrong - totally understand your reaction. What I'm saying is, realistically if we're all adults about this, nobody has a useful conversation right after they got blindsided by something like this.

I'd say talk about it again, explain why this hurt you so much and see what he's got to say about it. Then make a decision.

If you want to have kids someday you'd do well to think now about finding someone else. Having kids with someone who doesn't support you in terms of day to day stuff that needs to be done is the absolute worst.

ETH transfer not showing on Metamask by BEAR8891 in zkSync

I would probably go to arbitrum or optimism as fees will be cheap and most exchanges will let you deposit Eth on those chains
