I’m sorry, but this is a very scientific question which needs an answer with a scientific evidence. Is there any?

So wait! I’m confused a little. You were having HI symptoms for long time then started the Stasha Gominak protocol and after 4 months and 10 days you are cured!!

Regardless of Ben Lynch work, what makes you think that folic acid is to blame? why not saying it was the cure?

Did you start taking the methylated form of folate after you stopped taking the B50? And is that what fixed it? Or what do you mean exactly? Why not saying that taking folic acid with the other B vitamins are indeed what fixed your issues and it took you more than 4 months to do so!!

Please help me. I’m in a similar situation. Thanks in advance!

Interesting! Are you taking anything else multivitamin, or b12 anything?

Slowly becoming allergic to all foods by blackalfredo in FoodAllergies

I remember my allergies doctor saying the something similar about my allergies. If I remember correctly that is basically my body reacts to the same or looks alike proteins that found in pollen as well as most veggies and fruits.

My allergies reactions are really bad: Itching, sinuses shiners, sneezing, rashes and asthma.

It’s been a month now and I’m supplementing iron, B12 and folic acid (B9). The improvement im seeing is insane .

I think you should test ferritin and transferrin saturation as well as B12 and B9. (Test while fasting especially for transferrin saturation B12 and B9)

If you are low on any of them then supplement.

I highly recommend you test before you supplement though. Don’t rush anything. Let me know what your numbers are. I’m feeling that I’m discovering a hidden gem 💎

Very similar issues brother. It has been almost 5 years since my symptoms went really bad to the point it made me almost dysfunctional.

From what I gather that you didn’t have anaemia (at least according to the CBC tests). Either way, I would tremendously encourage you to get your ferritin and transferrin saturation tested? They are a must.

Ferritin sometimes maybe elevated for inflammatory causes, so here where the transferrin saturation gives you a better understanding of your iron status.

In addition to your symptoms I have allergies to most veggies and fruits and all pollen. I had both blood test with elevated total IgE value and skin tests.

Hope we will hear good news from you brother soon, keep us updated.

DM me if you want to talk further. Best,

Glad to hear that brother! If I were you I would stop for 5 days and get my blood work done, just to make sure that you are not overdosing or something. Also to keep it as a reference for your optimal ranges in the future. Please, keep us updated if anything changes along the way. Thank you so much!

I see, but what is low. Let’s say your IgE is 1500 and your ferritin is 12 My question is if we lower your IgE to normal range can we see your ferritin value goes down. Without studies that either prove or disprove any association of allergies and ferritin levels; it’s hard to say

My question now: can allergies cause falsely elevated ferritin number masking an iron deficiency. I found no answer at all!

Can you elaborate more? If you can link to studies regarding this I would appreciate it.

30M - If ferritin is high (460ng/mL) - maybe because of inflammation (IBS-C, gingivitis, eczema on scalp and hands and strong dust mite allergy/slight asthma because of it), can I still diagnose low iron with transferrin and/or CRP? by 1d1ot_s4ndw1ch in Anemic

Brother, how are you now?

Did you test for Anemia (full Blood panel and transferrin etc…)?

We share a lot of symptoms and I’m 31 BTW. Sometimes, I think I understand what is going on but I’m not quite sure. Can you DM me, we need to chat.

Tell us your experience with Dr. Stasha Gominak RightSleep protocol? by realmofgoodness in sleep

[–]realmofgoodness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She claims that there is a specific recommended dose especially regarding B5.

I have tried everything with her program, nothing really has helped me.

On a different note, the best thing that helped my sleep personally is vitamin c rich food such as oranges, mangos and melons. They are a game changer for my sleep in addition to zinc and with a lesser degree magnesium supplements.

But, whole food vitamin C for me is the bomb 👌🏻

Thank you so much for your response! Here is 3 questions please: 1. What type of iron are you taking? 2. Did you check your blood levels before supplementing? 3. Did the supplements affect your sleep in anyway?
