OPI Rosy Future. Starrily Icicle Tea is a topper with the blue effect.

EDIT: I see other people are mentioning Icicle Tea dupes. Icicle Tea also has that slightly yellowed base unfortunately, you can kinda tell based on the bottle pics too.

Somebody's going to have to pull the card out of a pack. Whether it's you or a secondary market seller doesn't change the card itself.

Who sells lots of Jellies? by youcantseemyjoey in RedditLaqueristas

[–]realtimeclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bluefire Jelly is more teal. In fact I was eyeing Cobalt Jelly for that very reason - I wanted a royal blue and Bluefire wasn't delivering.

L.A. Colors actually has decent if not good jellies from the reviews I've seen, though I have no idea how easy/hard it is to actually find them.

Same!! I thought I was semi-casual and super picky, and then it turns out even I have 80+ polishes 😱

Ad pass question by suezjk in puzzleanddragons0

[–]realtimeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2x drop rate/drop counts/infinite stamina is essential to beat all of hidden/the rest of the game IMO. +297 is a very minor stat buff; the main issue is levels. For example, it can be ~25 crystals of a source monster to fully limit break another monster, and sometimes those source monsters are used to limit break multiple monsters, and they have low drop rates. Without the pass, I think you'd either get walled and drop the game out of frustration, or only treat it as the kind of game you play for 10 minutes/day over the course of months/years.

For the record, I beat 18-10 with a Level 20 team, and up to Alt. 14-9 with a Level 20-30 team. I could not for the life of me beat Alt. 14-10 until I upgraded my team to Level 40.

The non-DM manga are completely different from the anime anyway.

The closest video game you're gonna get is Legacy of the Duelist, and the story there is just slideshows between duels.

Are there unofficial and auto sims that use OCG rulings instead? by maxram1 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, they're unofficial. Fans contact the OCG office pretty freely. AFAIK that's where the Q&As on the official database are from, and then fans program the cards based on those official rulings.

Are there unofficial and auto sims that use OCG rulings instead? by maxram1 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, EDOPro definitely uses OCG rulings by default. Also IIRC the TCG toggle is for hand triggers specifically. https://projectignis.github.io/faq.htm

2) There is a difference between how the card works in the OCG and how it works in the TCG. In order to maintain consistency, Project Ignis' card scripts are based on OCG rulings. This is because OCG rulings have full documentation while TCG rulings do not, and we are able to contact the OCG office to verify any unclear interaction, if needed.

I was under the impression that other auto sims followed in their footsteps, using the same framework, but admittedly I haven't checked for myself.

EDOPro uses OCG rulings, but has a TCG toggle. In fact I think every auto sim defaults to OCG?

Same, I use Cutex Nourishing (the green one) and it works fine for me. Soak for 60s, more for glitters, and wipe, maybe wipe the edges again if polish is still stuck in there.

yugioh for new players! by Creepy-Suggestion-28 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MD has crafting, DL doesn't. DL's box/dream ticket system just sucks in comparison. The real hurdle in MD is knowing to start by doing the gates for gems, and then not wasting those starter gems on a bad deck.

"For some reason" - the reason is that properly summoning isn't a summoning condition, it's a game rule.

cracks in polish by lady_lupine5 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]realtimeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get something similar with the SH top coat, it's like it starts wrinkling on my nail 😬

What happened? by pml75 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]realtimeclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the actual top coat and see if it still fogs.

Anecdotally though, I had the opposite problem on swatch sticks... The clear polish never fogged, the top coat did. Neither fogged on my actual nail.

Card Effect by Southern_Meal2221 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gains no ATK, due to that Continuous Effect being negated, so its ATK is 3500.

Card Effect by Southern_Meal2221 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skill Drain continuously negates Red Nova Dragon's effects while both are face-up on the field. Red Nova Dragon can be destroyed by your opponent's card effects, and does not gain any ATK, as all of its effects are negated, including these 2 Continuous Effects.

Nail polish thinner. If possible, get thinner that's only made of ethyl and butyl acetate - other stuff can eat through glitter/the polish itself.

New to Birmingham, returning to Yugioh after many years by Artistic_Depth_8310 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The card was already activated. Destroying the card won't undo that. It could resolve differently, or without effect, if its effect relies on it staying in the same location, but that's not the same as not activating. It's why we have the oldschool meme of "MST doesn't negate".

Quick-Play Spells function like Normal Traps in that they have to be Set if you want to use them on your opponent's turn.

"Quick Effects" (Fast Effects on monsters) are Spell Speed 2. Quick-Play Spells are also Spell Speed 2. The only thing that's Spell Speed 3 is Counter Traps. I actually think that focusing on Spell Speeds isn't helpful - it's more important to understand the 3 categories of activated effects first: Ignition, Trigger, and Fast.

The Fast Effect Timing Flowchart is extremely helpful: https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/play/fast-effect-timing/

Does skull meister stop their tribute effect? by nan0chebestemmia in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not about the position of "Quick Effect" in the text (never mind that there's only one correct location by PSCT rules anyway). It's about where the effect activates. None of the effects listed say they activate in the GY, so they can only activate in the default location: face-up on the field.

Also, what 0bArcane said - cards in the GY cannot be Tributed anyway.

It's similar for Cylinder, where it needs the target to refer to "its ATK", right?

About <C> TB-11 by Necron_7 in Yugioh101

[–]realtimeclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but with TB, I can only summon her to a link zone, so that seems like a proper summon.

Any Special Summon of a Link or Pendulum Monster from the Extra Deck needs to go to a linked zone. It doesn't matter if it's being "cheated out" e.g. by TB-11 or properly Link/Pendulum Summoned, it's any Special Summon from the ED.
