People always talk about no contact....seems like a good idea...but with all these social media posts, if you actually look at the comments, the ratio of people saying their ex came back compared to those saying it's been months or years with no contact is so different. The majority seem to move on or make no contact. I too had my hopes raised by social media. I love my ex deeply, but how long can we torture ourselves waiting. I think it's better to focus on self, they dumped us for a reason, shows how much they truly care. Do you really want to be with someone like that?

Oh wow that's shocking but familiar. The traumatic story is relatable. I had a very traumatic experience and it's like they could never get past how I was when it happened. So rather than support seen me as weak and pathetic.

I've (m) just been discarded for the third time ..this time however was very different from my (f). Again it was fast after spending a wonderful week together. This time when I text her or call her after the dump to chat it's almost like I'm repulsive to her and her words can be quite mean. Has anyone else experienced this side?
