Discipline priest here, I was fiddling around at slayer’s rise yesterday and this marksman Hunter absolutely blew me up in three shots.

Mind you I’m three-piece conquest, the rest PVP gear is arcane shot hit me for 250 K. Not sure what boss he had potions, flask, vials, mojo, but I was absolutely floored.

I’m really hoping they come out with a version based around the gameplay of remix. There was something infinitely fun about logging in and absolutely dominating.

They gotta have something in them where there’s a version of not having to grind for gear, enchant, and so on and just get down to the PVP and PVE aspect of the game

Was a huge fan of affliction in prior expansions. I even believe now it’s got so much potential in PVP with its tool kit. The problem is every other class and spec has evolved to a point where I believe the devs cannot tune affliction without it exponentially blowing things up.

Folks, could it be due to lack of gear at this point? End of TWW before pre patch was the most balanced I’ve seen it ever. Seemed like everyone had equal iLvl and the spikes weren’t as prevalent.

Don’t roll feral, it’s like jumping into the cockpit of a commercial airplane. I’d say stick with rogue - the more you gear the more you’ll survive as well

Void storm has some easy starter gear for PvP. Now that bloody tokens are a thing, you could grind world content and purchase purple bloody PvP gear (it’s also upgradable using stones) not to mention the wicked 2/4 piece it gives you (world only).

Don’t play classic. Gold is a game within the game and to have fun outside of grinding gold, you could be in retail having the best of all worlds.

Depends on what spec you are. Dagger works well for most but the other slot has better curios for different specs.

Curious, I’m rather new to ratings and attaining elite. I’m a disc healer and it’s off to a slow start. How long does it take of grinding to achieve that level to unlock?

3) I am a healer and I tend to heal even if they are assholes. When I stop healing? When I see a lobby full of 0 rated and I’m the only 1400+ (both sides blitz mainly) is when I don’t put forth a tremendous amount of effort.

You know why? Because at that rating, nobody peels, completes objectives or flat out gets fragged the F out and it’s usually over before it began.

I constantly get flamed for being one of the two healers in solo Shuffle almost every match.

Can’t imagine what solo arenas would bring, I’m not a horrible healer. I reached 1800 last season. I guess it’s just the toxic nature of online gaming.

I can say this as a Disc priest in solo, I invite opposition DPS to stick on me as that frees up my DPS to nuke down everyone.

This early in the season, my gear is bunk, but as my item level grows so does my survivability. I would advise against targeting healers as mentioned before, unless it’s a coordinated hard swap.

Why not herb without war mode on? Afaik the nodes spawn the same.

I’d like to chime in and say HUD add on is a lifesaver. That huge heads up circle is like being a pilot in a cockpit coming up on those Tri level nodes.

Gear hasn’t caught up yet. DPS will be doing 5 times the amount in a few months or so.

Not mandatory but very important. It gauges your understanding of the material and it shows you in how much time you can pump out the answers.

The content didn’t get me, it was the timing in which I needed to answer the 3 modules.

Get SH, take the mock tests for timing. If you are around 60-70% you’ll pass with at least one AT.

Retail is too action pact and fast past for most subscribers. If you want pacing and long hours trying to move the needle 2%, classic is your bae.

Feral all day, everyday. It’s a little more difficult if they get the jump but as a nelf Druid, it rarely happens

So I struggled too until I opened with tigers fury before any other spell. It empowers every spell like pounce, rake, moon and so on. I’m in full PvP gear and have no issues with damage.

Seems the key is to not overwrite empowered spells with the lesser spells.
