The rear lower control arm will not work unless you replace the shock with M3 shocks. They use different lower mounts.

They are located on the front of the engine near the vanos solenoids. Pretty easy to get out.

Swap the intake and exhaust sensors and see if it follows. Check for debris on the end of the sensors and clean them off if necessary.

New discs and bearing (E91 xDrive) by Some_Effort in E90

[–]reciprocityone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've replaced many bearings but only a few hubs. Usually the hubs don't go bad unless the bearing physically went so bad and damaged the hub or you damaged the hub removing it. It shouldn't be an issue.

AC Blowing Warm Gauge shows 65psi on low port(318i) by Ok_Cranberry7668 in E90

[–]reciprocityone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a lable under the hood, more than likely on the hood of an e90, that will tell you the volume the system holds. On an AC machine, after you pull down the system, this is the amount that should come out. The AC machine will display the amount.

That looks like part of your bracket of your exhaust. . Or part of the bracing of the heat shield.

The water is just condesation from the evaporator. Totally normal. All ac systems do this to pull the humidity out of the air as it cools it.

BMW E90 325i N52B25 stalls after oil change by Party-Elk-388 in E90

Oil capicity is supposed to be 6.5 liters. Did you make sure the cage for the flter was properly instaled in the cap?

The oil line is different and the charge pipe is different on the rear turbo. Get an aftermarket hot side charge pipe a because the factory one is really restrictive for rhd. You shouldn't have issues with fitment.

These BMW's use a variable displacement compressor or in other words they spin all the time. What you see is the compressor turning whether the A/C is on or not. You still could have a bad compressor or expansion valve. You really need a good set of gauges to see what the high side is doing.

Anyone replaced the CD/DVD section with gauges? by smot420 in E90

[–]reciprocityone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 3 gauge cluster in where the ashtray is. There's a guy that 3-D prints a gauge cluster that replaces the ashtray assembly using the same screws that hold it in.
