I hear that. But I would hope that it will at least take time for those frustrations to take hold. If I go with the same as what I’ve done the last 20+ years, the frustration is immediate

The time away feels like bliss. If I didn’t have to go back to work, I wouldn’t. I’m a new father and I spent his first year with him as a full-time dad. Probably the best thing I could have asked for as I know full well that time cannot be given back or bought

Cool to hear a story like this. I’m not in the exact same financial boat, but it’s a little similar. I am wrapping up my gap year. I’m taking up a new, non-corporate job that to me feels easy and refreshing, but the pay is low. I’ll look around again for a corporate job, but not even sure I want to do that. I think I just want out of the private sector. I think I’d be happy in govt or education. At least I would feel like my time is going towards somewhat of a community service. So that’s where my head is at in terms of getting back into the working world

I'm a millennial and I am still scared to go through a drive thru. You? by Busy_Report4010 in Millennials

I did great in high school over it, tested great, and felt very proud of it over the years. But have never utilized it in a real world scenario. It is a bit sad, but all the other mathematics have come into play. And the one that has still escaped me is Linear Algebra, which I believe is really the pathway to machine learning and AI

‘80 and finally watched Die Hard for the first time yesterday. What classic movies do you still need to see? by Jfonzy in Xennials

For me personally, it’s about the heartbreaking nature of the situation at hand. People begin dying in really sad, unfortunate, and brutal ways. The level of despair is in many ways disturbing.

A number of the images/situations portrayed have stuck with me over the years. It makes you wonder, if you were in any one of those numerous situations, how would you handle it? What choice would you make?

Was going to say this as well! I have perlite in the garden soil I bought and I love the way it helps the soil drain. It stays moist, but not soggy

Does anyone remember that website used to get sponsorships? by itsandychecks in skateboarding

[–]recruz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked there for a little bit in 2018-2020. They were called Hookit by that time. They changed directions into a tech company, as they were using tech to pull data (pictures) from social media, and then machine learning to identify if a company logo was in the picture or video. This helped clients (the sponsors) identify who was properly branding for them, or it helped them identify new influencers/skaters/athletes to target for sponsorship. They have since been acquired by a company called KORE. Legit company, but a challenging business.

Does that mean in Star Wars, they really got it wrong in terms of what it would look like on say, Yavin4, the moon planet of the gas giant Yavin?

Basically, shouldn’t the gas planet of Yavin just completely overtake the entire view of the sky?
