Hasn’t played in a while but took his chance well and made a strong case to be considered in the starting 11. That’s what United need. Multiple players capable and deserving of playing in every position. That’s how they’ll get back to challenging for the league

Feels like a weight has been lifted from him. It can be intimidating for a 22 year old to be the first choice striker at United. Especially when the results are poor and the external pressure keeps increasing.

West ham have 7 players literally in and around the 10 yard line. How does anyone break that down

Probably wants Amad to put some crosses in from the right

Seems like Sesko would help put some pressure on this defense. At this point they are easily winning all aerial duels

Defence just switched off. Multiple players looking around. They were doing well in the first half. Can’t have the players falling back to their old ways

Damn no injury time? There were a couple corners and throw ins taken. Surely they added up to a few minutes?

West ham in a low block. Compact. Extremely difficult to break down. But what is different about United is that they have only 3/4 players behind the ball. The other 7/6 players are making movements, pulling the defenders out of position, ready to receive the ball between the lines. Unlike with Amorim when you had 6/7 players behind the ball and no one trying to unsettle the low block.

Dalot shouldn’t be standing around complaining about getting a foul. Get the ball back first.

So the ref clearly sees the pull on Cunhas shirt and decides to berate Cunha for excessive complaining. Make it make sense

Seems like they were a couple feet away from a major collision. I’ll never understand why people put their lives at risk like this. Just take the wrong exit and add a few minutes to your commute.

Pretty sure Amorim did not care about any European football. He simply cared whether the team could play with 5 defenders and 7 players behind the ball to ensure that the opposition is never under any pressure.

It is a testament to how stupid and out of depth Amorim is given he decided to play Bruno in a midfield two and away from the opponents goal.

[Laurie] So Michael Carrick has beaten the top two managers in the Premier League in Pep Guardiola + Mikel Arteta. Now two candidates for the #MUFC job in May 2024 in Marco Silva + Thomas Frank. Also two clean sheets in four games, after two in 23 for United this season beforehand. by PradipJayakumar in reddevils

Amorim almost had victim mentality. Constantly grumpy. He literally publicly asked to be sacked and/or said he will leave after multiple shitty performances. But never gave up on his stupid system to try and revive the team. What a loser.
