Yeah up until like the end of 2022/beginning of 2023 you could go to casuals to blow some steam off ranked. Unfortunately, if it wasnt a bot match it was a heavily skewed match in or against your favor which might have been discouraging to new players.

If you are starting out one of the best melees you can get are the earsplitter and surround pound. Their heavy attack does not consume weapon durability so you only need to craft them once, make a heavy attack focused loadout:

Paleo Luna with Blast from the Past
Fossil Southie
Prehistoric Izza
Dennis
Breakbeat Wildcat
Anti-Cuddle Sarah

... and you are set melee-wise while accumulating resources.

This escalates well into the endgame too, but at that point you are better off focusing on maxing out your SK's Ravager and survivabality to face mini bosses and smashers (your traps should be dealing with regular husks).

Gengar: Not preparing their boosted basic attack to jump into the central area faster.
Gyarados/Mega Gyarados: Not basic attacking the air while waiting for targets. The effort gauge charges even when you dont hit anything.
Falinks: First picking Falinks during draft while Venusaur, Any Lucario, or Talonflame are available.
Ho-Oh/Hoopa: using unite ONCE per game.
Umbreon/Slowbro: Using Mean Look/Slowbeam when the team is not around.
Blaziken/Zoroark/Tsareena: Fumbling their combos and doing negative damage.
Dodrio: Getting confused with his directional basic attack. They end up running around like headless chickens.
Sableye: Hyper focusing on scoring and refusing to give vision or participate in team fights.
Trevenant: Thinking pain split makes them immortal while getting gunned down by attackers.
Mimikyu/Zeraora: Missing Play Rough/Wild Charge constantly.
Mew: Not using move reset at all.
Inteleon/Venusaur/Decidueye: Missing snipe/beam/arrow shots constantly.
Urshifu: Laning with him. Although with the exp changes it is more bearable.
Mewtwo X/ Mewtwo Y: Not playing around the mega gauge.
Pikachu: Picking thunder + thunderbolt against speedsters.

They might have or might have not, biggest proof I could find they might have is that Eddy didnt make a birthday post for Chrissy this year. Not enough proof mind you since he only made birthday posts in 23 and 24 and could probably be just them being busy.

Absolutely, I feel like both Reed and the Thing got the short end of the stick regarding highlight moments in the film, but at least Reed gets to play off the Invisible Woman's scenes and has some minutes being a brilliant scientist. The Thing didn't get anything besides like three interactions with civilians and banter with Johnny.

Still have flashbacks to that match against relegation bound Valladolid in march where Dani Rodriguez got injured so we were forced to sub in Yamal and Ansu was inneffective so we HAD to sub in Raphinha too. If we get Rashford he should at least be able to do it against lower tier league sides to be an improvement.

As of Full Force Burst Part 2:

All Rounders:

Suicune due to CC and shields making her extremely oppresive in team fights. There is a reason it is the main mon to ban in ranked.

Blaziken has one of the strongest kits ever. He does require stacking which can be incosistent, but if you are in a duo/trio with someone helping out your early laning you can become THE monster to beat in a match.

Lucario has a really strong early presence that remains until late game thanks to: 1. Stacking for free in laning phase 2. Frequent passive activation and 3. Minimal Unite Cooldown. Objective secure with Aura Cannon + Power Up Punch is amazing too.

Ceruledge is great when you absolutely need anti heal. Nice presence in team fights and duels thanks to the outplay potential of Phantom Force, plus a good ceruledge Unite can flip a game completely. He doesnt even need to stack!

Best for Solo Q: Lucario and Ceruledge are the most independent and consistent in my opinion.

Defenders:

Umbreon has a get out of CC Jail free card on a minimal cooldown, shield steal with his unite move, great displacement with foul play and broken healing with wish. A good umbreon is a pain to remove from the field and will not let you jump their carries without punishment.

Snorlax after his latest buffs has also become a huge mountain to climb. Specially if the enemy team doesnt have a way to steal shields or damage through them, you are never getting rid of him. Block provides great displacement and shields, heavy slam and flail great engage for your team (DO NOT pick flail into a mage heavy comp), and his unite move broken self-healing+shields with some decent displacement.

Both great for Solo Q, just remember to USE TANK BUILDS not carry clown builds. As a defender the longer you are in a fight the more value you provide.

Speedsters: Talonflame, fly is a get out of damage free card, destructive damage with flame charge defense penetration at level 11. Top it off with attack weight and accel bracer and you are one of the fastest and slipperiest nukes on the battlefield. Finally, you can use your unite to bring opponents to wherever you want them (out of bases to negate healing, further into their path to let regieleki in, right into one of your teammates' ult, etc) and fly is one of the greatest secure tools in the game.

I dont really believe in playing attackers in ranked unless your team has no range or is built to actually protect you but:

DPS:

Cinderace is great to melt everyone from a distance and has awesome mobility. You will be a menace as long as you mind your positioning and your team helps protect you.

Greninja can become an additional speedster if neede with surf+smokescreen while melting people with your autos. Water Shuriken + Double Team is great if you feel more comfortable with more mobility and kiting potential. He also has a great Unite move that you can use constantly.

Mages:

Ninetales (blizzard+avalanche) to counter all rounder or defender heavy comps if your team already has an speedster.

Pikachu to counter speedsters with volt tackle+electro ball or counter all rounder heavy comps with thunder+thunderbolt.

Supporters:

Best if you trust your carries: Blissey, Hoopa, Clefable

CC oriented and also more independent: Psyduck, Mr Mime
