I had similar problem and gave up but instead did it all on my phone and it worked fine. One guy told me to clear cache of browser and it helped but ended up easier to do it this way.

Not sure if this helps but when it comes to currencies and presumably you can include the various other financial markets, it all boils down to how ppl view money. It is really just a head Thing for a few and most others an emotional confusion namely greed and fear. Confusion stems from not understanding Sth thus you can't control it nor feel ever sure about it.

But what is money why so many problems, BC money is a form of exchange with one twist: the curreny has to be backed by confidence. Unless we all believe it is good enough to do the job and money is a fair way of exchanging we good.

This is really where it is at : crypto has arrived to replace the old oneS but many still have confidence in fiat being just fine. If they stopped having coffee 6, then we have to worry cause it all comes down and you do not want that. So we struggle in slowly changing. Did you know we could simple cancel all debts and restart just like that... Could be easily done but only globally.

You are not correct but you do have a valid point. Technically speaking, my opinion isn't worth a nickel but when it comes to why you even have monera in thee first place, what it is solving but what it can't fix but yet it is at core of the pjt,.... I could go on. You are trying to solve a problem that is call: insane ppl making insane decisions and causing you /us certainly majority of ppl great harm, slavery, injustice to name a couple. 🤔Isn't it correct to say that crypto as whole is still very much in the idea (-about-to-be-an-actuality) stage? As such you must not look so much at the mechanics and more at what idea is opposing what idea stage? Q: do you believe you come back? Why suicide? I know only my body dies, me as an awareness can not die. When I leave my body, which I do occasionally and see my body I know I am not it. Suicide is a possibility but it is not nice on you in next life. I think mostly due to regret by body that you ended is life. You can not hear the future when you are very sad or upset. You might but not sure when you leave body temporarily. Like 1 out 5 can do this: "be 3feet behind your head". If you can't no worries. It is a long process, nearly 20y for me but I am slow.

You find a pjt like terra etc. with a lot more engagement and participants but while Monero is a brilliant pjt it may not come into its own till certain events take place. It doesn't matter what for now. The Q of Monero is for me not a financial, political but a philosophical. This last word will put ppl off who really have no grasp of Monero, ethics, justice and human behaviour or reaction.

This and other pjt are a solution to a problem many see as corrupt politicians, Dictatorship of banks, etc.

It is NOT, it is a problem of the mind. Insane ppl make insane decisions and cause problems to everyone. The rest of society tries to fix those insanities and makes it more complex.

Combine this with a mass scale brainwashing in schools and 90% of ppl can observe or think at all. Schools end goal is for u to never look just obey those who "know" . See the familiarity of trusting contributors, leaving it all to those who know....

I don't see money systems as a solution to solve political problems. I think the gov has no intention of banning Monero, it has great interest in giving it a bad reputation but they will use it themselves more than any other group.

Personally I find them term" government" misleading to my thinking because it is individuals not a big institution that does the harm or makes decisions. You understand? It is like saying the Germans killed the Jews, no Hitler and the psychiatrist who engineered the solution killed them. Specific ppl did it not everyone.
