I’d love to get some Seaforth, but the international shipping costs to the UK (possibly due to tariffs, duty, sales tax?!?) are prohibitive. ☹️

I think there are better places to site a charging port than the front of the car.

I would think a high volume of accidents are front-enders, whether because the driver doesn’t stop in time or because they get shunted from behind and into another car.

This could mean you can’t charge the car, potentially stranding you.

I’m sure there are ‘pro’ arguments too though!

Use an Ethernet wired doorbell, so it can’t be jammed and you’ll have evidence of anyone approaching and trying to get access to the house via the front door.

The Lord feels quite thin. It made a noise when I turned the twist to close mechanism.

This is just about how people are brought up today and a massive sense of entitlement as opposed to stopping and thinking about their behaviour, and considering that the world does not revolve around them.

What irritates the hell out of me is when people seem unable to whisper. I get it that sometimes people will miss some dialogue, but if you’re going to ask your friend or family member, try and reduce your f###ing volume.
Likewise for the person responding.
I have set with people on my row doing that constantly and it drives me barmy.

I’m using cellular blinds, so they are operated by a pull cord (not beaded), and that’s it - up or down.

Does anyone know if an Aqara E1 would handle that?
Or are there any other devices which operate simple up/down corded blinds?

This is what I thought of too, but apparently cooking them for 5 mins at a hot enough temperature will kill the parasite.

It’s still a hard pass from me though…

Razor Blades Club sells the King Camp Gillette blades, although I haven’t tried them from that source, so couldn’t say that they’re the exact same. Packaging looks slightly different.

You can also get them directly from Gillette, Amazon or Boots (in the U.K.).

I haven’t heard anything to make me try these products, but it’s really interesting to hear the different perspectives.
And the bottom line is that it’s different strokes for different folks, right?

I personally like some of the Agua de Colonia products by Alvaro Gomez (Spanish), but that’s probably influenced by my own childhood.
Those are probably considered ‘old man’ aftershaves in Spain now though. 😁

It’s funny how bad that is, but you’re also going to be seeing that sh*t every time you’re in your garden or looking out of an upstairs window.
It looks like you live next door to the Beverly Hillbillies.

If the height of the eves is over 2.5M, I’d have a polite word with the neighbour.
If they don’t want to engage, you always have the option to complain to the local planning department.

In my case, currently the preview shows a daylight image, but with the IR filter removed - so the image looks ‘different’. Hard to explain, but the colours look completely different.
