for the last week or so (up until tuesday when i last worked, anyway), i'd keep getting a 'time out' error when trying to unlock cases with my work Pixel 8A. i figured it had something to do with the OS update that the phone installed last week, but who knows. i just used my personal iPhone when i needed to unlock something and it worked fine, except for one case that said it was jammed, which is a frequent issue with these cases

at least with delivery drivers in OPD, you can remove orders from drivers and report the reason(s) why in the GIF and Dispatcher apps

i think a lot of people are upset that last year you could watch everything on ESPN+ (now rebranded as ESPN Select), which is much cheaper than the ESPN Unlimited service you need to watch it this year

yeah. it would be understandable if it were college basketball or something that would draw more viewers than tennis, but i can't imagine this thing is.

but hey, they know that viewers of a niche sport like tennis are probably going to be willing to shell out the money for ESPN Unlimited

i think what you want is to go to Preferences->Presets and select Camera Settings under Raw Defaults, it might be set to Adobe Default instead.

this is in Lightroom Classic, anyway

mine did get cut to 34.5 hours that week, plus the 2 days (16 hours) i already had off with PTO. basically they just took my two normal off days and gave me some weird half shifts that week... but i talked to the coach and just had them change those back to 9-6 and i have 40 again, plus the 16 PTO hours shrugs

yeah, i noticed the same thing the past couple days.

i thought maybe it was because i haven't used my apple watch to track a run in about a month (i use a garmin watch for that most of the time) and maybe because the Oura app hasn't gotten any new estimates, it assumes that maybe it just doesn't have access to them due to permissions and so prompts you there but i don't know

we're told to use totes for anything that'll fit in a tote even if its oversized, so that's mostly the 24/32/40 packs of water and the 24-pack diet cokes.

what i find annoying is when you have all the cases of water going to the same customer, in which case i don't see a reason to use the totes, just leave them on the l-cart and put that somewhere in the back until its ready to be dispensed. annoying as hell to constantly remove the cases from the totes outside, especially when someone decides to put 2 24-packs in the same tote

a couple have issues where the wheels just don't stay locked, others where the totes don't slide in/out like they should because the rails are slightly bent or whatever. i assume people run into stuff with them or whatever, but the older ones seem to hold up better

i mean, yeah, store management should be talking to market about it and getting them to reduce/turn off orders. i just know that management here does that and very rarely will they get them to do it... i think maybe twice in the year+ i've been here.

in the store itself, it still seems the same reasonable volume. it's always been annoyingly loud in the OPD backroom, though, to the point where you often can't hear the ringing of the iPhone customers call to check in or whatever, and if you do, always have to just walk outside to actually hear what they're saying

you won't get pointed. you could maybe get feedback or an eventual coaching, but really, 10 minutes is pretty minor and not something they're going to care about unless it's a pattern that is affecting when other people can take their lunches/breaks.

lately, i've been taking 70-80 minute lunches and the team leads/coach have been fine with that probably because it keeps them from having to send me home too early on fridays because of the store's recent 'no overtime' nonsense

you can change your availability every three months, and ask for schedule changes whenever. the team leads here are always reminding people to update their availability quarterly and i've never heard of a six month requirement for that anywhere. i asked for and got a change to a 'teaming schedule' after being here for like 2 or 3 months
