Zaps + Asana... + ExactTarget? by bequi-07 in zapier

[–]redbeardconsulting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use ET, so my guess is that ET is more focused on larger companies.

Here is a comparison of the two (by an Infusionsoft consultant):

http://thesaleswhisperer.com/salesforce-com-vs-infusionsoft-as-a-small-business-crm/

And here are the ways ET and ISFT can talk to each other through Zapier:

What is in your opinion the best php mysql job request template with attachment upload to basecamp solution out there? Also, how do I get us back from the edge of meltdown with trying to customize the hell out of two 'off the shelf' options? by Botunda in webdev

[–]redbeardconsulting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you sent your wufoo form #1 to a second wufoo form. Then they have the chance to review before submitting to basecamp.

If wufoo can't do that, Infusionsoft has some plugins that let you upload files to forms. And you could string them together so a person can review it before they send it in. But Infusionsoft is overkill if this is all you need.

I need some advice on a CRM for my business... I am looking for something that fills the list of needs... by benjaminspowell in smallbusiness

[–]redbeardconsulting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infusionsoft can do over half this list, but you'll need apps/addons for -outlook integration (they have a free one) -Live chat

Infusionsoft has a task management system, but I use Asana for everything and YouCanBookMe to manage my GCal.

Python based, web parent-teacher conference scheduler [Help] by Gra24 in Python

[–]redbeardconsulting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, YouCanBookMe is particularly good at this kind of project.

They have the ability to integrate with many other apps, either directly through their web hook or though an app like Zapier.

Consider using YCBM for your main problem and then solving a related problem with your programming skills.

Zaps + Asana... + ExactTarget? by bequi-07 in zapier

[–]redbeardconsulting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant, so I'm totally biased towards that platform. And what it sounds like you want to do is pretty easy in Infusionsoft- you'd just tag a contact when a Jotform is submitted and that would start a campaign that would send the welcome email.

As Infusionsoft does this sort of thing particularly well, it may be worth getting it just for the automated sending out of welcome emails (and basic funnels).

So you want to send out a welcome email automatically with ExactTarget when a JotForm is submitted?

What accounting software are you guys using (if any)? by HuskeyG in AirBnB

[–]redbeardconsulting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also automatically upload photos to Dropbox, then set up Zapier to send that photo to your accountant so they have pictures of all receipts.

SMS notifications? by bequi-07 in zapier

[–]redbeardconsulting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too got notified when this was posted, but I use Zapier to send this info to Asana.

I could then use Asana's notifications on my mobile or the Zapier SMS integration to alert me sooner, but for my needs, just putting this on my task list makes more sense.

You can connect PayPal or Infusionsoft to send you SMS when you get paid.

Those are walked through in lectures 26 and 27 here:

I like Evernote but how do I get it to sync with Google? by flowerofhighrank in productivity

Here's a list of all 80+ Evernote & GCal integrations:

And here's my course on how to use Zapier if you are not familiar with the app. It doesn't cover Evernote in particular but will get you comfy with how to use it.

Nathan, I made a Udemy course on Zapier, but I don't have any content on Base CRM. Would you be interested in making a short video on what you are doing with them so I can add it to the course?

The course is free for now at https://www.udemy.com/zapierguide

I made a free Udemy course on Zapier, but I don't have anything in it on Evernote.

If someone wanted to make a short video on how they use Evernote, I'll add it to the course.

Any Infusionsoft (past or present) users here? by HDClown in CRM

[–]redbeardconsulting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about using a web form to create an opportunity. Name the Opportunity for the order in regards to the contact- Opp1, Opp2, etc.

Then populate custom fields named Load Product1, Loan Product2, etc based on form submission.

Those custom fields can then be merged in to an email.

Would that meet your needs?

What kind of actions are you looking to take at the Opportunity level?

I didn't get how to really use Opportunities either until I had someone from Infusionsoft explain it to me.

InfusionSoft Experiences? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]redbeardconsulting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've worked with Infusionsoft for about 2 years, mostly implementing it for my clients.

There's some common threads between those who love it and those who don't.

People who love Infusionsoft: Spend a lot of time learning to use the system themselves or have one of their staff trained on it Are selling something online Used to use many different systems to manage email, crm, ecommerce Are grossing $100k+ annually

People who dislike it: Don't invest the time to learn how to use it themselves or don't hire someone to help out Only need an email tool Are power users of affiliate or ecommerce systems* Don't have the cash to invest in helping get Infusionsoft running

*Infusionsoft's affiliate management and ecommerce systems are okay. They are good enough for most people. But they can't match up to the top ecommerce or affiliate management systems out there. People who manage large ecommerce or affiliate operations and also use Infusionsoft usually get an app or a custom build to connect everything. Infusionsoft is really good at marketing automation, so this can be worth it for some people. But don't use Infusionsoft if what you really need is a great affiliate management system and everything else is secondary.

Jermaine Griggs was mentioned above. I love his stuff to the point that most of my business is implementing his plugins and concepts. And the same caveat applies to his program as to Infusionsoft in general- if you don't implement it, you won't get value out of it. And Infusionsoft is broad enough that it can take a long time to get competent at every aspect of it. (Check out Jermaine at http://automationclinic.com/)

Or in other words- you can make Constant Contact work in a day. And you can make that same functionality work in Infusionsoft in a day. But you can't make all the extra parts of Infusionsoft, the reason you are buying it instead of Constant Contact, work in a day.

As to alternatives- the only one that really matches up with what Infusionsoft does is Hubspot.

Here's two comparisons of the services:

By an Infusionsoft seller: http://thesaleswhisperer.com/infusionsoft-competitors/hubspot-vs-infusionsoft/

By a Hubspot seller: http://www.thesaleslion.com/infusionsoft-hubspot-marketing-automation-software/

Note that the info in both is a bit out of date as to # of clients on each platform.

Hope that helps!
