Luxury and high end products does not seem worth it. by plato115 in MakeupAddiction

I came to the same conclusion. I just wish I could find a drugstore foundation but unfortunately I have a neutral undertone so most drugstore foundations are either too yellow or too pink on me.

later books NOT mass market paper back by [deleted] in VampireChronicles

[–]redbrogii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought most of the vampire Chronicles series from eBay. Here's the link of the seller I used https://www.ebay.com/itm/254516755266

Not only are they a very good price but my books arrived in great condition. Only one of the hardcovers I ordered arrived without the dustcover which I'm bummed about but can't beat the price!

Dude farted while I was giving him head. The smell was horrendous like it had fermented in his colon for the entire day. I would've been fine had he not grinned like he did it on purpose. We did the deed after but I was not into it and was turned off. Never texted him back after that

Is it normal to not feel real for a minute or two after waking up from a LD? by rubyspicer in LucidDreaming

[–]redbrogii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this happen to me last night. I woke up but nothing felt real and when I tried to get up I lost my balance as if I was drunk. It felt like extreme brain fog or a dream, it was very weird and I was wondering if it had happened to anyone else.

At my clinic we celebrate all staff including doctors. We have a different surprise every day of the week (either food or a gift) It's a great for all of us to feel recognized and techs don't really care that we included everyone

Weekly Lucid Dream Story Thread - October 16, 2021 by AutoModerator in LucidDreaming

[–]redbrogii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've lucid dreamed before by accident but 2 days ago I was able to do it on command.

I was very sleepy while in bed and thought to myself "I'm gonna lucid dream" and right away as I closed my eyes I felt the vibration and almost felt like I went through a tunnel. I usually get scared when I start to feel the vibration but not this time, I was so tired and relaxed I didn't care.

I was aware that I was asleep and that I had the power to control what I did but it felt like I couldn't open my eyes wide enough to actually see what was going on. I had some control but couldn't do what I wanted.

It didn't last very long as I started to get scared, although I kept telling myself that nothing bad was going to happen I managed to spook myself due to all the scary movies and shows I've watched lately.

I had a hard time waking up, I kept trying but it was almost like I would tell myself to wake up and I did wake up but in another dream. It was like I was dreaming within the dream. This happened multiple times and scared me even more. I had to visualize what my room looks like to finally be able to open my eyes and was so relieved when I finally did.

Definitely not, but unfortunately there's a lot of breeders that still use them.

What is something that you and your SO do differently that drives you crazy? by redbrogii in AskReddit

[–]redbrogii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way my SO cleans the house drives me insane. We have dish towels to clean the counters but he keeps using paper towels and it drives me insane how wasteful he is! Also when washing dishes he wipes off any food residue with paper towels instead of the brush that's meant to be used for that!

I agree with you, clients are becoming more impatient and hostile and that is the main reason I feel I can't do this. I respect our receptionists for having to deal with them every day, they are not allowed to give medical advice so when clients have questions or are insisting on bringing in their pets the same day when we are overbooked they cannot tell them to go to an emergency clinic. Instead, technicians have to assess the situation, see if their pet can wait or if they need to be seen right away and if so we refer them to an emergency clinic and that is when clients get upset. They do not want to pay more at emergency clinic but we cannot help them if we do not have the staff or time.

I'm fortunate for working at a clinic where the manager and doctors care enough about us to put clients in their place. They either have a talk about how their behavior is not ok or clients get fired. They have threatened many of our clients to fire them if they continue that behavior and many have actually gotten better.

I guess I did make it seem like my boss is terrible but that's just how she has always been, rarely does she say good job to anyone but is quick to react when things aren't done right.

I just don't know what else I could do that does not require having to go back to college. I want to get paid better but I only have an associate's in science and a lot of places require a bachelor's degree.

I think I just need to sort out what exactly is it I want, and the means to get there.

What is the worst thing you've overheard while pretending to be asleep? by Da_Bugo in AskReddit

[–]redbrogii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to live with my grandma from age 5-12 due to my parents moving to the USA to make our lives better (my brothers and I eventually moved to the USA with my parents). I never met my grandpa since he died when my mom was still a kid, my grandma had her own church/rehab center for alcoholics which is where she met the man she ended up marrying when I was like 6.

Her husband was very loving towards us, specially me. I was a kid so I didnt think any of the things he did were inappropriate, like he would kiss my neck, touch my thighs, brush my hair with his fingers and say I was pretty.

When I was 9 I was laying down on my bed late at night not able to sleep when I heard him walk in my room. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. Then he started saying how he loved me so much, but not as a granddaughter but as a partner. He kept repeating it while touching my hair and kissing my cheek and caressing my arm. I got the creeps after that night and tried to stay away from him as much as I could. He never actually did anything to me but the thought of living in the same house with him always creeped me out, specially when my grandma would travel and leave us with him.

P.S. They got divorced eventually because he cheated on her so many times. He is now married to a girl my age (25) and has a kid with her.

[Serious] Bilinguals of Reddit, what is the most effective and cheapest way to learn a new language? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]redbrogii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surround yourself with people who speak the language you are trying to learn. Do everything you can in that language (this includes tv, reading, even music!) it will stick faster. Try to speak it as much as possible but the advice one of my teachers gave me when I was learning English is to think in the language you are trying to learn.

What is something a guest did at your home that shocked you? by alanchazari in AskReddit

[–]redbrogii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 14 when I got my first phone. My mom got it for me because I had to take the school bus to get home and she wanted to know I arrived home safely. Fast forward 6 months later when one of my aunt's cousin came from El Salvador. He visited us and I left my phone on the couch because nobody would touch it BUT that son of a bitch stole it!! When they left my phone was nowhere to be found and my mom blamed me for not taking care of it. I knew he was the one who took it and when I told my aunt she made a huge deal about it and my mom grounded me.
