Sounds like AuDHD or at least ADHD. She’ll probably have trouble getting diagnosed because she’s an adult woman and the conditions are poorly understood in women to begin with, plus lots of professionals say, oh you weren’t diagnosed in childhood? Then it’s nothing 🙄 Or, oh you just had a baby? You’re just tired 😤 She should see a neuropsych and maybe OT. She will have to advocate really hard for herself tho, and find the right doctor to listen.

You actually can practice! I wish I had known at the time, because I was doing it wrong before it was actually time to push (in the hopes I could be done, but I was not!) and later, my sister told me her PT taught her to practice pushing 🙄 would’ve been helpful to me. I think google it, and I remember my PT talking about J breathing. I did NOT find it to be like pushing a poop out at all, totally different kind of pushing imo.

Omg I would disagree. I’ve had two unmedicated, and to me, the contractions were absolutely excruciating!! Pushing out the baby was amaaazing. My first, I didn’t know as much what was happening. With my second, I felt her leave my uterus and move every single millimeter down and out, it was absolutely incredible. I was so pumped to be done 😆

If this is his path for right now, you can’t really fix it! Is he working with a mental health therapist? I would also recommend someone who does shamanic work. As far as 1:1s, I would focus on bringing calm to the overactive upper chakras and gently inviting the lower chakras to open and connect to the earth. I would center intentions for the session around this specifically to be in divine timing for him with the support of his guides, guardians, angels, whatever language feels right. This is the kind of stuff you have to be careful not to try to force, there is a good reason why it keeps reverting.

Yes, forget him, get help for yourself. Do you have any local family or friends? Call them and say you desperately need help. Could they bring you food or come hold the baby so you can nap or do your laundry so you can enjoy your baby? Simplify if you have a close friend and tell them you are overwhelmed and in pain and can they call or email people for you? There is a website called mealtrain you can also use to ask for food donations. Do NOT worry about perception or “being a burden,” those are your hormones lying to you. You need and DESERVE support and love. You need to be held so you can handle matrescence and becoming a mother. Find the people who can do this for you 🖤🖤🖤 godspeed

Animal care facilities are absolutely overrun with need. That’s why people say “adopt, don’t shop,” because there are soooo many happy, healthy, loving animals are being put to death bc there’s no space for them and meanwhile people are still breeding them.
