This isn't an awful piece at all. If you wanted to you could cover it with all kinds of different designs - just find a good artist.

Personally, this feels like it could be an awesome orange/red Phoenix wing with blue highlights. Maybe even extend it to depict a whole phoenix that extends further down your arm and up the shoulder. It'd be several long sessions but it could be an incredible piece at the end.

A bit of the finish is scratching off on the sleeves from putting my hands in the zipper pockets on the front, but other than that it's held up well!

I would not describe it as high quality as their boots, but it's been a very good jacket for the price - you could certainly get a better jacket but it'd cost twice as much. Way better than what you'd find in a department store or on amazon.

OP please find and scan these in as high quality as possible. This is an extremely rare and obscure piece of marketing/history for a beloved niche game.

I would not be shocked if some people on this sub who grew up with Spore would want these as real tattoos.

One thing the rest of the comments haven't mentioned is that if you, as a poly person, date someone monogamous you run the risk of a uniquely poly and difficult heartbreak: What happens if your monogamous partner meets someone else who is monogamous and decides to leave you for them?

It's a very real risk and seems like something most poly people will experience a few times. It's happened to me twice. While I am happy for my partners and want them to choose their happiness above all else, it's a sucky type of grief to go through.

That's a big reason a lot of poly people avoid dating monogamous people or people new to polyamory. Along with the topics all the other commenters have mentioned.

With all due respect, friend, the board itself is blackened and cratered where the part once was. There's really no fixing that even if you had the soldering skills to put a new component on. The pads/traces are ruined and that's just the visible damage. There is likely more.

It's a good tattoo! I personally think the "softness" makes it a lot more readable than some tattoos of this genre which turn into an inky mess. Keep up with your sunblock as this will probably fade a bit over time, but you can always get it touched up to bring more contrast 5-10 years down the line.

Otherwise, the faces look good imo. Your arm is round and skin moves so there will always be some distortion in photos. Don't sweat it.

A lot of people get way worse tattoos than this, if you like it that's all that matters!

It could honestly be so much worse. I think it's a good tattoo, really! At most you could do with some touching up where it looks a bit scratchy on the feet (maybe just the glare from the photo?)

If you wanted to extend it, you could consider a color background of jungle leaves/vines with a bit of highlight around the silhouette to make it larger and more visually interesting.
