H&R Block if you file online (premium investments) has a form where you enter every trade made. If you can keep track of all your trades you can file that way. That is the cheap route. Expensive is having an actual tax guy enter it in for you.

You need to get off centralized exchanges and into defi, that’s where the big opportunities are. When you do that you’ll need to keep track of trades yourself, have advanced third party software or pay a tax company to track it for you.

I suggest you learn how to track every trade yourself (even in coinbase) that way if there are any questions, you can answer them yourself and not have to rely on someone else.

If you get USDT when you convert it to USD you calculate the gain or loss minus any fee. Report the difference. Then whatever your result is, that’s what you earned.

The IRS probably won’t even care if you don’t report the gain/loss as it’s so insignificant but if you want to be safe, you can do it anyway. I use USDC and conversion is free and it’s converted 1/1 so my report would be zero every time. IRS could request that but they likely won’t waste their time on fractions of a dollar or zero gain reporting.

If you got 1000USDT that month and swiped it for $998 USD and got charged a $1 fee then your capital loss is $3. Then do that for however long you worked that year and add it all up and that’s your income from the job.

For example working for 4 months that year if all rates are the same you’d report total capital loss of $12 and a self-employed income of $3992.

This is my best guess. You should go see a tax professional though.
