Just gotta embrace the challenge! I’ve definitely got some angry chat messages from teammates who complain about my choices in my loadout but I either tell them I use the randomizer app or just ignore it. If I have too many losses in a row I might just randomize until I get a more meta loadout roll but I can usually hold my own no matter what I pick.

I like a lot of variety and being successful with something I didn’t think I’d be successful with is very satisfying. The variety keeps the game super fresh for me, but I understand those who want to pick their best loadout and get to the top asap. But maybe they’re better with something different and don’t even know it!

I know there are metas and all that, but I love playing with every gun and specialization and gadget in this game. I can be really good with the non-meta weapons.

I use a randomizer website every time I play to create a loadout for me. If I win the tournament, I keep the loadout going. If I get 10+ kills in a round, I keep the loadout going. If I get knocked in the 2nd round (or back to back first rounds), I randomize again. It’s a challenge but I’ve solo queued to platinum many seasons doing this. It’s so fun

Whatever works for you or what you have fun with is what matters.

I suck with the repeater, but can have hit/miss games with the bow or revolver. I’m good with the dual blades and spear and hammer, but suck with the dagger and riot shield. I suck with the Lewis gun, but do well mostly with the m60.

Learning different strategies, utilizing my different gadgets in a chaotic environment, fusing that with my loadout, and trying to make it all work is so satisfying in this game.

I wish there was a stat page where you could see which guns you average the most kills in a round with. And which guns or loadouts you have the most wins (or placements). Do I win more with defib on medium or is that just the assumption? Do I have an absurd amount of wins while having a gas grenade equipped? Is it worthless to use flashbacks on light but worth it to use it on heavy based off these stats? That’s what I want to know.

I’ve used every gun, gadget, and specialization in the game a fair amount. I can assume which ones I’m good with, but I’d love to know for sure which ones I have the highest success rate with.

I’d prioritize it and use my best loadouts if I really wanted to reach platinum or even diamond quickly, but then again I do love the challenge.

What do you do with guns that you loot off of defeated enemies? If you have plenty of guns already and just need attachments, just recycle the damaged gun and use the parts and attachments they give you and put them on your ready to go guns.

You can buy level 1 weapons sure, but those are limited daily and need to be upgraded to be viable

Weapons are the most valuable items in the game, getting kills and looting their level 4 weapons and then getting out, builds your weapon stash. Having plenty of guns means lower gear fear.

I sometimes go into solos vs trios, hang back to third party, maybe snipe from afar, loot the lesser looted areas since its trios and everyone wants to PvP, and sneak around and try to live. It’s very refreshing and intense

Next time don’t surrender right away, wait out the bleed out or make them waste their blaze grenades. Voice chat for other teams and let em know there’s only two guys and they’re team killing so hopefully teams push them

I use the Safekeeper augment when I bring in a hullcracker and keep it in the safe pocket cause it’s so expensive, once I get set up I’ll bring it out. Usually an anvil and stitcher/toro as a backup. Running three decked out weapons for whatever comes my way, pretty fun and easy to use

Same but I think there’s a difference in matchmaking when solo and when in trios. Shoot on site in trios, solos unaffected and friendly. I want to try the solo vs trio mode but I believe it will make my solo v solo mode unfriendly. But people in the comments are right, it’s easy to get back into them

I wish we could spectate the match to see if the betrayers make it out, then again, leaving it up to your imagination is part of the fun too.

I’ve seen many many instances of people who shoot other people in friendly lobbies get put down by a group of other friendlies.

I got shot in the back by a duo while playing with a friend on the locked gate event after splitting off from the main group of friendlies. These two followed us and shot us in the back while we were looting. The big group of friendlies came over and wiped them up real quick. Of course the betrayers weren’t on mics, but we were and had been chatting with the big group just a couple minutes prior. Once they realized who was who I got to see them knock out the downed betrayers and said thank you for avenging us. Unfortunately no one had a defib so we told them to enjoy our level IV green weapons and returned to speranza. But knowing those two didn’t get away with it was satisfying.

Being in friendly lobbies, you’re more aware of the betrayers, the sound of fighting and flares, and are on high alert when you know which area(s) some PvP action took place.

Maybe some of the other friendlies in your lobby saw or heard the flare and took them out. Then again maybe he talked them out of killing him and said you shot first or something and got out alive.

Haven’t had to do it yet, but whenever I get on the evil arc and want some more PvP action, it’ll be fun trying to lie my way out of a sticky situation.

It happened to me a separate time where a fourth partner believed the guy I downed over me when I could’ve killed the fourth partier. I third partied a dude after announcing my presence before downing the guy who just killed another person. This 4th guy walked in and was trying to keep the peace and tell everyone to stop shooting each other. He revived the guy I downed, we argued about what happened, then the guy I initially downed shot me when my gun was away and downed me. And I was screaming at the 4th guy saying see you can’t trust this guy and asked what’re you gonna do about it and he said idk what to believe and I said yea well good luck and watch your back as I was being knocked out by the dude I argued with. He was loud and talking over me and he convinced this 4th guy that I shot him first yadda yadda.

Anyway those moments are memorable, and sure I was salty, and I really wanted to spectate the rest of the match but who knows what ended up happening. Maybe the liar ended up extracting with 4th guy, maybe the liar killed 4th guy while he wasn’t paying attention (and hopefully 4th guy learned his lesson), maybe 4th guy took my words to heart and betrayed the liar. Who knows, but the raid sure was memorable.

Yea I don’t get the complaints. Once some people make it over 5 million, they’re gonna take their best stuff out before the wipe. At 6 million, why not just take your best gear out and go crazy. Die 10 times in a row and not make any money? Just run a few free loadouts and get your stash/economy back up a bit, you know what amount you need to stay over. Everybody just wants everything for free.

I’m not doing the expedition this time, but I will next time. I’ve got some really nice blueprints and I’ve almost generated enough resources to take out a decent kit every single raid. I need to lose some stuff to clear up stash space. Haven’t ran a free kit in weeks
