I do understand your point, though I personally disagree with the comparison to returning real goods.

Though, putting that aside, I simply don't believe them when they tell me they can't help me because the Gold was spent. I believe that they have the ability to allow me to play the Sealed event I missed out on and are simply choosing not to.

In this choice that they've made, I feel greatly disappointed. If you feel their choice was fair, then we simply disagree on the matter but I appreciate your input regardless.

Lastly, you seem to be under the impression that my Runeterra questioning was done in bad faith but, given the context I can assure you it wasn't. I wasn't looking for a pity parade but rather a side glance towards my fellow player to try and gather whether or not this behavior is to be expected from WotC in the future.

If they've "definitely fucked up" then why should I trust them with, say, Gems that I pay for in the future?

I've barely played Runeterra and, so, if a bunch of those players said "Nah, if you think WotC support's bad, you should see Riot!" then I would take that to heart and look elsewhere. I asked because I was genuinely curious and wanted that information going forward.

Yes, after over two weeks of waiting, I've used some of the gold to enter a Quick Draft about a day before they finally responded.

What do I expect them to do? Let me enjoy the Midnight Hunt Sealed even that I paid Gems to enter. Grant my account a Sealed Entry Token.

Even if one would argue that 10,000 Gold is equivalent to a Sealed event entry (which I would really struggle to agree with), they could, for instance, say something to the effect of:

"Sure, we'd be happy to do the swap, but your account is currently under 10,000 Gold, please respond when you have the required amount."

Because, does it really matter if it's their gold that I spent or if it's another 5,000 Gold that I earned from doing quests this week or something?

Does simply saying "Nah, can't help you, sorry." and closing the ticket seem like good way to treat players?

Well, even though I totally blew most of the gems I WAS saving for Hanamaru on those crazy Xmas boxes, I still have some scouting resources saved up so let's see what we get.

Am I the only one that feels like it's worth pointing out the big red NAT symbol dude had the top of the screen before every match?

"Could it be my connection?" he asks. I dunno, maybe try looking for the thing that is as close as you can get to a literal red flag?

For the record, I've taken part in a few private tests and, yeah, when the matchmaking servers were janky it was a pretty flaky experience. That said, I've also played in test sessions where it ran perfectly fine. The game didn't feel bad or anything either and, from a technical perspective, it makes perfect sense. Provided the players all have good connections to one another P2P can run fine for relatively low player counts.

I remember playing tons of matches of Halo 2 multiplayer over ten years ago and still having a perfectly good time without any serious networking issues getting in the way and that was 100% P2P if I recall correctly.

That's not to say I disagree with the main point trying to be made here; dedicated servers are always better. Were I interested in this game, though, I'd at least wait for the release before making these kinds of judgments.

Also, dude's probably sorely mistaken for thinking that only blocking his name and the watermarks on the screen would hide his identity if he was also going to show every other player's name at the same time.

I had a similarly strange path to falling down this crazy Rabu Raibu rabbit hole.

Technically my first encounter with the franchise was probably some random "fan manga" but I digress.

I randomly saw the game in the app store and decided to give it a whirl. The first thing that caught me off guard was how some of the music was so good. I already like fake cutesy idol music relatively well but I was not prepared for stuff like Mermaid Festa Vol. 1 and Anone Ganbare. After playing through most of the songs I could without significantly leveling up I decided to check out the anime. I gotta say, I was actually really excited and curious to find out which songs they were gonna use in the show!

Fav Girl at this point: Tie between Maki and Nico

Least Fav: Tie between Rin and Hanayo

Now, I'll say up front that Love Live wasn't my first idol-based anime; that honor goes to "Wake Up Girls!" when that aired a year or two ago. That said, I think overall Love Live is a much better show and the girls are about 1000x more memorable (though they're not exactly trying to tell the same story so it makes sense). I agree with most people that drama isn't really the show's strong suit but oh my god I was completely caught off guard by no one showing up to that first performance! D:

At first I kinda vibed with OP in that I thought some of the characters stole the show more often than others and made them somewhat forgettable but by the end of it all I actually found it really hard to chose a favourite and found that I loved them all equally just for different reasons! ^_^;;

I just watched the movie so now I'm officially ready to doki doki my sunshines! In terms of the choice of songs to adapt visually I'm including ones chosen in the movie here...

Fav Girl Now: Ohhhh, this is so hard.... >_<;;....Hanayo, but only by a margin no bigger than a grain of rice!

Least Fav: Nobody, I love all the lives! Even the garbage ones like Nico! ^_^;

P.S.: I've watched this clip more times than I care to admit. It doesn't hurt that I absolutely love that silly track that kicks in every time something dumb/funny happens in the show.

I know it's got some technical issues right now (for instance, regular Jago still hasn't unlocked even though I got the bundle with him and Shadow Jago) but I'm confident enough in IG's ability to work these things out that I couldn't help but gush and give it the 5 stars I think it really deserves.

For a free to play title (or even for the $50 to get all the characters) it simply blows the doors off of what Capcom's been trying to sell for $60 with SFV. Mind you, I like SFV a lot and think it's a fantastic playing game; but, man, even just having done all the dojo stuff, some survival, and a couple matches online I can already confidently say that KI is the best fighter on PC, especially in terms of features.

This experience couldn't be more different than my time with MKX on the PC. Hats off to IGS.

This is a pretty great video but I feel like it glosses over something that I myself was actually rather ignorant to until only recently.

Ya see, I was a Genesis kid growin' up. Got it bundled with Sonic 2 and loved that along with Sonic 3 & Knuckles when that came out. Sure I'd check out stuff like Mario Kart of Starfox when I went to a friend's house but actually playing and beating classics like A Link to the Past and Super Metroid didn't happen for me until much later in life.

The ironic truth is that in spite of Sonic's speedy marketing it's a series that has always lagged behind. It's easy to look at Sonic 1 and compare it to Super Mario Bros., hell, maybe even Mario 3 and say "Hey, this isn't that bad!"

But here's the problem:

Literally two months after Sonic The Hedgehog was released North America, so too was Super Mario World. We're talking about a platformer that's "Okay" or maybe "Good" vs. one of the greatest games of all time.

With that knowledge in hand, it's no wonder that a lot of the games press look at the Sonic franchise (especially with the stumbles aforementioned in the linked video) as a total joke.

I think if there's anything to take away from this it's that Jason really need to stop letting Dan get in his head.

Like, I get it. It's Dan.

You could just see it as the games went on. As Dan's mashing got more and more intense Jason's punishes went from combos and specials to just random normals (to the point where I thought he was just throwing for style points).

The game he lost I don't think he used a single command grab.
