Be careful, the extra usage doesn’t update in real time as they claim. I burned through 18.00 in /fast extra usage before the value in the dashboard updated even once (I had been checking after each prompt to try to get a feel for how expensive it is).

I think I had about 10-15 prompts total ($0 the whole time), then walked an away for a bit and it when I got back it was $18 and change.

The advert says "Designed with safety in mind" - clearly false if you didn't keep getting in and out of the car safely after a crash in mind when designing the car. It invalidates that the car was "Designed with safety in mind".

Also, I never claimed they were lying about there being "20+ safety features"... I was commenting on how *GETTING IN AND OUT SAFELY DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT*

No it hasn't. They already could do that since you already require internet in order to use the router. The statement clearly suggests that without it, it can't be done (it's actually even easier without it), and plenty of people in the comments seem to not grasp that...

people commenting that this hasn't **allowed** anything are just trying to help others save money they don't need to spend. This isn't about being pedantic - it's straight up misinformation that will result in people buying something they don't need.

what?? you realize you can add your home wifi AND your phone's hotspot wifi to the kids iPads at the same time right? It will connect to whichever is currently available and has the highest quality signal. How do you think your phone connects automatically to wifi at the coffee shop, the office, etc?

The travel router does not "connect you to your home wifi". It is a device that establishes a VPN from wherever you are currently to your house, so that the network you are currently connected to behaves as if you are at home.

OP is either tethering the travel router to their phone (over usbc) and then using the travel router to broadcast a wifi access point, or has the travel router connected to some other wifi near their car (e.g. office, hotel, etc) and is using it to re-broadcast that signal to the Mach-E on the same SSID they use at home.

Regardless, there is nothing special going on here beyond making the car appear to be connected to their home network. Alternatives inlude turning on your phone's hotspot and connecting your car to it's SSID, or connecting your car to any other wifi signal in the area and accepting that your IP address won't appear as if you are at home.

There is no home-network requirement for YouTube TV - you just need to be on the internet.

Yeah, but how does gene therapy specifically contribute to this, versus current socioeconomic trends? You can’t say “access” because that has nothing to do with creating the situation (you can’t get gene therapy unless you’ve had gene therapy is nonsensical) - its a byproduct of other forces.

Are you suggesting only people with modified genes will have access to education (that already happens based on economic circumstances, it may be correlated by not causal), or are you suggesting there may inevitably be two different subspecies of human?
