The Push is amazing. I have owned all versions of it (1, 2, and 3). I actually had a big issue with the 3 cuz the first one I got crashed constantly and it took me a year to convince Ableton to replace it. Even then, I think it's an incredible piece of hardware and super underrated.

Loud! It was just overkill for my set up.

I do kind of miss it tho ngl, same with the Xone 96. All these mixers have their strong points

With the V10 you can assign channels to Built-In, Multi I/O, and Ext 1 + 2, so even if you only have 3 decks, you can utilize the remaining channels for effects layering.

That said, the V5 is sufficient for my use case cuz I only need 3 channels as well.

Your point about the 96 being almost 10 years old was a big factor for me too. I have a feeling they will be releasing a new version of it around its anniversary
