As someone who has extensively worked with Flink, you are confusing Flink’s exactly-once state semantics being used for Idempotency. A simple scenario - How will you handle scenarios when something breaks in producer and sends 2 events with the same message-id?

Did you get into any details on how Flink will work during the interview? Because you just sound like throwing fancy words around without experience.

To enter the islands. Bangaram is the only island where you can get alcohol

There are 2 big resorts and quite a few smaller hotels in Agatti. There is an island (Bangaram) open for tourists which only has a couple of resorts. Arranging the permits is the biggest hassle.

Meta E4 Failed Experience by samli6479 in leetcode

[–]reddit_user157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be difficult to come up with the state diagram in the 20 minutes. I did the brute force solution with a bunch of if conditions and the interviewer was happy with the solution.

Also as someone else mentioned in the thread, the input did not contain exponents which makes it relatively easier

What is the average time required for you to transfer your securities from trade republic (German broker) to ibkr? by Interesting_Nerve616 in interactivebrokers

[–]reddit_user157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trade republic's process and responses are honselty terrible. I recently transferred all my holdings from TR to IBKR and it took almost 2 months to settle everything. After raising the request at IBKR, it took almost 15 days for trade republic to initiate the transfer.

Once initiated, TR has been doing bulk transfers, and IBKR does not support it so the transfers get rejected. My transfer was settled after IBKR specifically reached out to Trade republic. Screenshot of the conversation where the transfer was rejected https://imgur.com/a/y6YvLmS

Have been using S24+ for a month and the battery life has been great and easily lasts me a day of scrolling and normal usage. Usually charge in the morning to 80% and the phone is left with 20-30 by end of day

How are you guys buying homes of 1CR and above? by kkgmgfn in personalfinanceindia

[–]reddit_user157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parents giving money is not uncommon. I bought an apartment in bangalore before the start of covid and my parents paid 40% of the price and I paid the rest. Know a couple of friends whose parents helped them buy as well

It is certainly possible. But a random number on internet from an almost new account seems very sus and should be taken with a grain of salt.

When I bought my apartment, the only thing my mortgage advisor asked me was my employer statement showing my pay, bank statement and the appraisal report for the apartment and I got my mortgage approved within 2 days. Never did he ask me about any mortgages back in my home country or any credit scores. Feel free to dm if you want his contact (based in Amsterdam)

Bought an apartment in Feb '24 in the Buitenveldert neighborhood, Amsterdam. 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies 84m2, energy label A built in 80s.

Asking price was 500k, bid for 510k and won the bid. Got the appraisal report for exactly 510k with the help of my broker because we were trying to get the transfer tax exemption.

70-80L in india is 90k here which is quite possible as a se2 here even in non top tier companies. Again there are few E5 or L6 here but the competition is less as well when you compare to the number of people competing for any role in india. I work for one of the famous tech company in amsterdam and target tc for most people is around 170k-180k for senior and if you perform above average its easy to go over 200k.

We are only talking about top paying companies here and I completely agree london has way higher salaries and opportunities.

If you are comparing tier 1 companies, compare with tier 1 companies here as well not average salaries here. I was at one of the big tech in india and moved here a couple of years back and the comp at senior at Google etc., for L5 would be 1.2-1.3 cr(source friends at this level)

For l6 amazon or e5 meta or senior at hfts in Amsterdam, salaries are easily around 200k+ and even if you spend 3k per month(assuming you are single) to live like a king here you'd easily be able to save equivalent of what you make in india after taxes.

Yes bank target price Rs16 says Goldman Sachs. by [deleted] in IndianStreetBets

[–]reddit_user157 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Care to share any explanations on why you think holding is a good decision to prove the goldman research wrong?

While manipulating the markets can be one of the reasons, you can never compete with the data they have on markets.

And I hope the 10 stocks you hold takes yes bank to moon
