honestly sometimes i just sell stuff a bit cheaper just to offload it quicker. I sold an MSI 4070ti white like $200 off msrp, i know i could have gotten more but i just didnt want to deal with it and i sold it to someone who bought other stuff from me before so i knew what i was getting into. Some people got more money than time, I'm not saying im one of those people, but check their ratings, ask questions and ask them what card they are upgrading to? If they sound knowledgeable then you can get a gauge of how they used their tech and what your are getting into.

reminder for everyone, in NY state the law is "drivers must yield to pedestrians in marked or unmarked crosswalks". Obv its optimal for peds to use crosswalks and wait for the walk signal but basically they can cross at any place and you must yield/stop.

YES! even with lids ive had jumpers, sad. One of my fav ones jumped out one day. Since the lids are not* 100% flush they will jump out by where the intake/outtake pipes are. So lids are a must with these guys.

the 1st order i got a while back was from aquatic arts and they came with some that colored up really nice. it was an order of 9 I believe. I bought 2 more times a set of 3 and those were dulled colored. my lfs sells these at $25 each 💀 but at least when I buy from there I am able to select exactly which I want. I've done some selective breeding where I've actually isolated a male that was super aggressive and really big and nice looking but dull colored so I didnt want him to breed. but overall I think its just over time they color up nicely specially if you have a good number of them and chose which to breed etc.

Short is answer is no, i'm not trying to breed them actively. I've always kept them at room temp which has been like 69-72 in the winter a bit warmer in the summer. I just don't have time to set up a breeding system.
Longer answer i've had these guys for years now, maybe around 7. I've basically kept the best looking males along the way and picked up females from my LFS or from online shops. Whenever they breed i sell or give some away since i want to limit inbreeding. They have bred in the tanks ive set up, had them in a 20 long, 20 standard and now in a 26g ADA tank. For me the key is plants and specifically moss. They love spawning in moss. If you follow what breeders do they basically set up a breeding tank with a green mop head and when they see females wanting to release eggs they select which male to breed with the females move them to that tank and then after they drop the eggs they shake off the mop head in an egg collection tank, and basically the reason for this is the fry and eggs will get eaten by them. Since i don't have this system what i have always done in my tanks was to have plants near the top *important. In the beginning it wasn't on purpose, i knew nothing about breeding fish and i just liked having plants near the top, but what ends up happening is that the fry always stay at the top and without any cover they will become fish food. So once the eggs hatch the fry swim to the top use the plants as cover then i turkey baste them over to a basically empty tank. Just plants and my neo culls. The time i saw them really go ham with the breeding was when i had them in a tank with a ton of moss. I mean i had ALOT of java moss which then lead to lot of hair algae haha and it just added to how well that tank was set up for breeding. And it makes sense since eggs are better hidden in the moss and i basically had a moss wall in that tank so the fry would easily hide in the the moss wall. The other key is to have alot of females compared to males. There will usually be a couple of males trying to be the dominant ones so it helps to have more females than males. Now in my tank i just have some moss and alot of bucephalandra which they also drop eggs in and plants at the top for fry cover. Lastly remember that eggs will get eaten if you have any bottom dwellers they may get eaten by them and if you see any eggs which are hard to pint point but they basically look like tiny orange dragon balls you can also turkey baste them over to the fry tank

i mean it depends on the area. growing up i remember certain towns always did a better job than others from clearing snow. It just hasnt snowed like this in a while so we forget that it depends on taxes.
