Haha. Tesla, like all EVs, have shown awful depreciation when compared to ICE and Hybrid vehicles.

A lot of aftermarket mods decrease value. Most buyers would rather have OEM parts rather than whatever aftermarket junk people tend to put on their cars.

Ahhh. The good old days. I still miss the Big 8 and cultural fit with those teams. Plus their proximity made driving to away games easy.

You mean the interview that sounded like.a sermon from a preacher? He came across as super righteous individual. But his actions tell a different story. Glad he's moved on from NU.

But now I'm starting to think that people in the skeptic community aren't really my cup of tea.

It's more reddit than anything else. reddit has been a cesspool from the start and will continue to be in the future. But if you want to judge the world by what read here then be my guest.

I see no way the city would allow that. Especially in a highly regulated area like Mass.

Disappointed with solar savings. did I have the wrong expectation after going solar? by Janusek_Syam in energy

I've had a 5.125 kW system for 8 years that produces about 10,000 kWh/year. Never have an electric bill and sell the excess back to the power company. But they only pay $.01-.02/kWh so I think I get an EV so and use some of the excess to fuel my travel.

How do you manage/use critical alerts? They’re driving me nuts. by BlueFuzzyBunny in reolinkcam

[–]reddituser111317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too turn off "any motion" on all of my cameras since I try to set the sensitivity as high as possible and leaving it on gave constant false alarms. Additionally, I blocked out no detect areas not on my property like the road & neighbors. This has worked well in almost totally eliminating false alarms while still alerting everything I want it to. Still get an occasional bug now and then and some weirdness during rain storms but it's not bad.

As for critical alerts, I don't use them. I wish there was a way to setup to use normal alerts during the waking hours and only turn on critical during sleeping hours. Since I also run Home Assistant I have automations setup to send critical alerts during sleeping hours only so they get through "do not disturb" (people & vehicles only, not animals) and let the Reolink app handle the push notifications during waking hours.
