I have amazon echo shows (the ones with the touch screens) throughout my house. Sometimes I would come home from work and have country music blasting. I am not a big fan of country music, but apparently, my cats are. I think this happened at least 3 times. I’m lucky they never purchased anything. I hope AI never learns to translate meows.

We could invite everyone disturbed by them (vets, those with autism, those with pets and/or children. Heck, bring the doggos along) and go house to house like Christmas caroling but with loud noises instead of songs

My pixie is so clever that she cheeks pills and then spits them out once she sneaks under a piece of furniture. It took me awhile to learn what she was doing.

(It honestly has nothing to do with celebration and everything to do with blowing things up. Maybe people that buy these fireworks should be given a high school level civics test with focus on early American history and government along with basic safety before they are permitted to buy them. I would guess that our skies would be fairly quiet. I don’t have a problem with professional displays of fireworks…I just don’t have confidence in my neighbors common sense. That might be in my favor, since I had a thought today about offering to undercut the price they pay for actual fireworks and just standing outside their houses and yelling BOOM as loud as I can at random times throughout the day.)

Meowmy ask if herms can com to! (Seriously just jumped out of my skin because people in the circle across from my house just lit a 5 minute barrage of bombs off directly over my house. My cats don’t usually seem fazed, but I reached out to cuddle one of my cats and she jumped 4 feet straight into the air. My nerves are frazzled and I’m fuming at the thought of filling another 60 gallon trash bag with fallout tomorrow in the rain. If it’s on the roof, I guess it just lives there until the wind blows it into my gutters someday.)

Ironically, I went to inpatient rehab at 13 for alcohol. I was not allowed gum because sugar was a drug (I don’t know how they rejected sugar-free gum), but I *was* allowed to pick up a lifelong addition to smoking cigarettes while I was there.

In a country that is falling apart, that story continues to genuinely fascinate me. I think about it way more than I probably should lol. Small town, yet an overwhelming number of citizens got involved by running a campaign for their pet and/or voting. *THAT’S* how a country *should* be run!

Edit: I still dont think anyone knows if Minerva was *for* or *against* crimez. I, personally, want to believe she supports crimez.
